Liquid Ice Melt

Works as designed. I found that saturating the surface well makes a significant difference in effectiveness. When used prior to snowfall, I would say that, as the manufacturer stated, about the first 3 inches will melt right away. Continuous snowfall will accumulate, but Liquid Snow Shovel makes sure no snow/ice will stick to the ground. This helps shoveling dramatically and cleans the surface completely. I use it on our back door steps, Even after lots of ice buildup (e.g. water dripping from the roof above), spraying Liquid Snow Shovel rather makes the ice loose from the ground before any major melting. Which is great, because ice can simply be swiped away, no more pounding with the snow shovel trying to loosen it up.

I finally had the chance to try this out when we had a minor snowfall. The night before I applied a very copious amount (about half the container) to the upper portion of my driveway and to the front steps, about 130 sq. feet. After 3" of snow and the temp hovering right around 32 I had to shovel 3 inches from those areas, which weren't even damp. No melting at all. Pretty expensive lesson but one well learned.
