Liquid I.V.® Yuzu Pineapple Hydration Multiplier® +Energy Electrolyte Powder Drink Mix, 6 Count Packets

I'm told I don't drink enough liquids, and to try this liquid I.V power to help. I thought why not, and got the pineapple flavor. There are 6 packets in a box. Well I'm pleasantly surprised by the results. I get 3 day headaches occasionally due to being dehydrated and I put one of these in a 16oz water bottle and within a short time no more headache. I was impressed by the pineapple flavor as well, really tasted good. So now I'm a believer of this product. I would recommend it to my friends and family. Apparently my niece already uses it. I highly recommend trying it for yourself to feel the difference.

The flavor is pleasant. It is not over powering with sugar or aftertaste. It is light and refreshing. I am an active person that works out, go walking and lift weights. I can honestly say this gives me a boost of energy and you feel it in a short amount of time. To me it works faster and stronger than coffee. I used 1 stick for 16 ounces. Going forward I am okay with using a half a stick personally. I appreciate that there are no artificial flavors and it contains cane sugar over refined sugars. The natural ingredients without artificial flavors indicate to me that the product is carefully crafted and serious about benefiting your health. I am avid about reading food and beverage labels. The powder dissolves easily by just shaking the cup. No powder residue floating around or seen at the bottom of the cup. I honestly would recommend this product because of the clean ingredients and effectiveness you can actually feel.

I like the name liquid IV, the pineaple flavor is pretty good, not too sweet, a little tart but it goes down good. It does give you energy depending on what time of the day it is drank. I did mine on the day of bowling, needless to say I was not yawning through the night while bowling and it does not make you crash. I would try this again and may try some other flavors. Oh I only drank 4oz a day.

Usually I do not like any other powder drinks except for Tang. But this hits the spot the flavors are good and 100 mgs of caffeine provides enough pep in your step. Will try other flavors too but this is by far my favorite. Recommended for hot hikes just keep some handy and turns ordinary water to an energy drink.

Liquid I.V. Energy Multiplier Energy Powder Packet Drink Mix is a supplement meant to boost your energy. It comes in different flavors and I chose pineapple; it tastes pretty good. You mix 1 packet in 16 ounces of water and drink. It did not tell me if I should chug the 16 ounces at once or drink it over a period of time (like with breakfast). I drank it in 10 minutes. Let me give you the good part first. Liquid I.V. does give you an energy boost and it has many of the ‘B’ vitamins that give you energy. There is also added caffeine that gives it a kick. However, the energy boost was short for me. The first ingredient is sugar and I felt a sugar rush that gave me the boost of energy I was looking for. About 90 minutes later, I came down from my sugar rush and the energy boost was gone. The other good part is that my spouse tried it and drank it 30 minutes before his regular bike outing. He said it was really good and he could feel the energy boost it gave him and he did not have a sugar rush. I recommend this as a boost to your energy during your workout. I give the Liquid I.V. Energy Multiplier Energy Drink Mix 4 stars because it has too much sugar (10 grams for a daily 20%) and too much sodium for me (500mg for a daily 22%), but for a regular exerciser, it should not be a problem. Normally I do a pretty good job staying hydrated, so my preferred use is kind of specific. I get terrible headaches as well as migraines. Sometimes they lead to me not being able to keep anything down. Liquid IV has been a lifesaver in those situations. That is what works for me, and I am not recommending that to anyone, I am not a medical professional. During my headaches my taste buds get a little weird and any Liquid IV flavor tastes good, so I go with it. I keep packets everywhere for those just in case times. On a normal day most of the liquid IV flavors have been pretty good. This Yuzu Pineapple however is not my favorite. It’s not a bad flavor, but I would choose one of the others over this one if I had the option. This flavor left me feeling like I wanted to rinse my mouth out, almost like it felt coated. I don’t remember that with other flavors and all I can think is that it is the pineapple that does that. So it’s not a bad flavor, but I would choose another instead if I had the option. My second preferred use is that we are winter sports people, primarily snowmobiling. I find these mix ins really work to keep us focused and hydrated especially when we are on long trail rides and not stopping all the time to take a break. Winter air is very dehydrating and these help a lot. I wouldn’t say they are like having a jolt of caffeine or anything, but I feel more alert and more aware of my surroundings due to being hydrated and able to focus. For me and those 2 purposes, Liquid IV is a perfect solution. Highly recommend.

As far as energy drinks go, this one is middle of the pack for me. It's non-GMO, vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free and soy-free. I completely understand the goal of a product like this but it's really important to be cognitive of the nutrition facts and be sure to only use the recommended serving size. The yuzu pineapple taste of this product is quite pleasant and I appreciate that pure cane sugar is the primary sweetener but it still contains some stevia which I am not a huge fan of. Overall the product dissolved quickly and thoroughly and provided a bit of a jumpstart when I needed it the most. However, I will use this product very sparingly as each serving contains 10 grams of sugar and has 500mg of sodium which is nearly 1/3 of the recommended amount for my needs.

Got this flavor the other day and just decided to try it, the first impressions was it had very good pineapple flavor but the warmer my water got, the flavor was not good. If you mix it to ice cold water and drink it very quickly, the flavor is great. If you plan on sipping this drink, I would Not recommend. And like all the other Liquid IV flavors I've tried, this one has that same saltiness to it. It really did rehydrated me and I definitely got an energy boost from it but I just think this Brand is not for me. Ice cold...YES. Room temperature... No!

The ingredients are pure cane sugar, Dextrose, citric acid, salt, potassium citrate, L- Theanime silicon dioxide, organic coffeeberry energy coffee fruit extract, stevia leaf extract, vitamin C, vitamin B3, B5, B6 and Vitamin B12. The instructions state add 1 stick of liquid I.V. to a 16 ounce bottle of water and shake well. I did not like the taste it left a strong powdered after taste and it too sweet for me. With all the sugars in the ingredients I would not recommend this drink unless you are use to the ingredients and know what you’re doing.
