LIQUID TRANSFER TANK

I spent the last 4 years building my own flats boat. I originally installed 2 plastic fuel tanks in the front of my boat. But I was having great trouble maintaining flow to the motor. I decided to switch to a different , more, substantial, tank. Well I'm very glad I purchased the RDS aluminum tank. It came ready to use with simple plug and play set up. And from that point forward I have had no problems with my fuel flow to the outboard. This is a quality aluminum tank. Welds are professionally made. This tank will last my years.

Works very well . Have another one got years ago still in operation.

Using this product as an auxiliary fuel tank on a welding machine. The quality of construction is excellent. Welds are great. The pricing of this tank is less then half what the original manufacture of the welding machine wanted for a replacement. Will buy another if I ever need on.

I bought this fuel tank to go on my bucket truck that I use around the farm. The old one was rusty and clogging up the fuel line. I did need to get the right fittings to connect to the fuel lines but that was easy and now I have a clean, new tank. I happy with my purchase.

I ordered a tank like this from Northern tool two years ago, and it worked out well for an insulation blowing machine that I was installing in a truck. So well in fact, that I ordered a second one a couple weeks ago for another insulation machine project. Great experience both Times.

I ordered 2 of these for my pontoon boat. Packages arrived quickly. Both tanks were just as advertised and came in excellent condition. I only needed 1 pickup per tank so I removed 1 from each and saved for later. Both tanks work flawlessly and look great on my boat.

Shipping was fast and reasonable. The tank is well built and looks like it will last a long time. Installation was easy and buying/installing the proper threaded items to connect to the motor was just as easy. The fuel gauge is accurate and the vent works well. It does not expand at all in the heat that I can see. As opposed to the red plastic tanks that end up looking like a bowling ball. Great accessory for outboard motor boat!

Due to OSHA regulations and other safety concerns we had to replace our plastic portable gas tank with a metal one. With our previous gas tank the kholer engine that we had was starving for fuel due to a kinked interior fuel line. This gas tank has a larger fuel line that will not kink, the metal construction is solid and can be mounted with the brackets on the bottom, the tank cap gives an accurate indication of how much fuel is in the tank. I still have to loosen the cap on the tank to prevent vapor lock but there is another connection on the tank where a reverse check valve could be installed to take care of the problem. Overall I would highly recommend this product.

Item was purchased for use on a pontoon boat. Item description states 13 gallons; will barley hold 11. Nice features, would purchase again but, shipping packaging needs to be addressed as filler valve was "crushed in",, bent over approximately 1/2". Otherwise,, works great and looks nice on the back of the deck.

Bought two tanks and pulled fittings off to plumb my connections. One fitting on each tank (closest to the cap) galled on the way out. Fortunately, enough metal was left for me to chase the threads with a pipe tap. Otherwise, the tanks seem okay. The hold-down brackets are pretty thin and the gas caps don't fit the necks well.
