Aux. Fuel Tank 60Gal

this was a great addition to the f350. no need to stop on the interstate and pay for high price fuel. get to our destination and then venture out for cheaper fuel.

Fit perfectly against the front bed wall underneath the angle and side to side on the raised ridges. Three mounting bolts come with all washers, nuts, and vibration springs. Filler cap is solid, billet, aluminum, fuel gauge unit, and rollover air vent valve with hose.

shipping sucks! shipped FedEx only wrapped in plastic. 2 out of 3 tabs were bent. apparently a box is too expensive

The tank is shipped strapped to a wooden pallet. Arrived in great shape. I am impressed with the quality welds for the mounting brackets and the tank itself. The locking gas cap has an internal overpressure relief and is heavy duty metal. The level gauge (float type) works fine and is properly positioned to read once mounted. The 3/8" quick-throw valve at the bottom works fine, but is hard to reach once the tank is mounted. I would recommend making some type of reach rod or use a 12VDC solenoid valve instead. there is a brass vent fitting at the top of the tank. Highly recommend routing a 3/8" hose from the vent into the area between the body panels (drilling required). If not done and the tank is filled to 3/4 full, it'll slosh a bit and fuel will come out (the inside of the bed of my truck smelled like a diesel tank, because i didn't do this. Again, a high quality tank that mounts great with well-written instructions. Works fine in my 2013 F250 HD.

I bought the 60 gallon auxiliary tank and I couldn't be happier with it. The tank came strapped to a pallet and was well handled and undamaged. The installation was pretty simple with just the tools that I had on hand. I did watch some YouTube videos for the experiences that others have had and I recommend that everyone do that. The tank is working well and I am really glad I put it in.

Super easy to install ! Fits perfectly in the bed of my GMC 3500HD Dually . This will give me a range of about 1,000 miles between fill ups . No more worrying about trying to fit my 40 foot fifth wheel camping trailer into a small gas station. I just fill it up and GO !

12000 LB Fifthwheel Bar Harbor Maine to Pleasant hill Missouri, 1 stop for fuel. So glad I bought this for our 2014 Ram 3500 DRW. Installation was a snap. Only advice is to watch popular video sited on the net to get a better idea what you are about to do. Took 1 hour to install. We were able to avoid high fuel prices on the highway. Would take a long time to recoup the initial cost in fuel savings but the convenience was priceless!! Better get the 60 gallon. Only drawback is it doesn't work with my hard cover so the cover has to go. Shawn

Easy to install, I can now pick and choose where to get cheaper fuel and the cruising range when not towing or towning has gone way up with out as many fuel stops!

I bought this tank because I was pulling an enclosed trailer from Georgia to Wisconsin and didn't feel like having to refuel every 350 miles. Tank was easy to install and did what I needed it to do. I would have given it 5 stars but its not a real 60 gallon tank. Best I could get in it was 55 gallons. Overall its well built and had no issues other than its real capacity. Would recommend.

During installation I noticed the tank wobbled in the bed of the truck. Removed the tank and put it on a level surface and the tank was warped so that it would rock almost an 1" from corner to corner. Called the company and got no response. Had to install with rubber shims as I did not have the time to fight with or return the tank to Walmart or RDS. Purchased other high end items through Walmart and have noticed they are of lower quality. Manufacturers dump their 2nd's on Walmart.
