I love this gesso. It's my go to every time!
This is a great product love using it to coat all of my art projects. It creates a base of my paint to flow flawlessly over the canvas! ?

As a beginner artist, I am constantly learning the difference in things. Todays lesson was gesso. I have only ever used Daler-Rowney Gesso because it is cheap and doesn't bend my budget. Well I decided to branch out a bit and buy the Liquitex BASICS Gesso. WOW! What a HUGE difference. The Daler-Rowney is chalky, heavy and it takes quite a bit to cover the surface of the canvas. The Liquitex BASICS Gesso rocked my world! Soooooo smooth, not chalky or heavy feeling, and a little goes a very long way. I doubt I will ever go back to the Daler-Rowney gesso now. The Liquitex BASICS Gesso is 100% better and makes such a HUGE difference. I highly recommend it!

This is great!
This is nice to use with acrylics, it is easily mixed, allows for a smooth application and longer drying time. Can be used for all , or in parts of paint mixing, for the painting.

I apply 4 to 5 coats with a dry wall plaster skimmer.

PRODUCT NEVER RECEIVED EVEN AFTER TWO ATTEMPTS
I love this product, but I gave it a 1 because I never received the product. I contacted to fix the problem and the seller was to send me another bottle. I never received that either. So this is a Seller problem, not a product issue. The product itself is highly recommended.

This was a great disappointment. I really needed the product and the price was good, but when I got it the cover was broken and was obviously already broken when shipped as a plastic bag was put over the top to prevent further spilling.Di
