Lisle Tools: Fine products and customer service!
Pliers seem well made. Tried out on one convenient to reach, upper radiator clamp…worked easily. Adjustable clamp contacts allow for use on wide or narrow clamp openings. Ratcheting “hold open" mechanism is simple and effective. Plenty of leverage and decent enough grip traction (no rubber or plastic dipping to rotate or come apart). Offset jaws should help in reaching some places. Package says “Made in U.S.A.” which does help influence my purchase. "Made in U.S.A.” is not printed on tool but would be reassuring! The high tool quality and made in U.S.A. are positive buying points for me! Priced at more than double the imports, many people will likely pass these by. All of my Lisle tools have been fine quality and do the job intended for, very well! On a different Lisle product I have owned for many years, Lisle Customer Service dept. shipped me a new, same size, torx socket to replace one I had lost, without additional cost to me. Nice!
