This is New Listerine Sensitivity mouthwash with zero alcohol. This mouthwash is suppost to shield and protect sensitive areas of your teeth without burning. Listerine Sensitivity Zero Alcohol provides in depth protection and relief from the pain of tooth sensitivity. It provides 24 hours of relief from painful tooth sensitivity with continued use. I have been using this for my sensitive teeth and so good so far. And no, it doesn't burn like some mouthwashes do. It also doesn't taste bad. I'm not having any problems with my sensitive teeth, so it seems to be working. This is great that Listerine has now made a mouthwash for teeth sensitivity. I would recommend this to anyone who has sensitive teeth.
Listerine Sensitivity Alcohol-Free Mouthwash is a great product for those with sensitive teeth. Besides the taste, which might take a little to get used to it, it delivers what it claims, helps to shield while protecting the teeth for an advertised, and have confidence it does, 24 hour protection. With the renewed approach to a proper swish on a daily basis, it eventually increases the level of protection the more is used. I decided to do a little more research on my own to understand what Crystal Block Technology is all about, as the name alone was quite intriguing, almost like an advanced state of the art formula. It claims to deposit some sort of crystals deep in the teeth, and after a few rinses starts alleviating those issues associated with sensitive teeth, which is definitely a good thing. Plus Listerine seems to have been around for a very long time, is one of those name brands that inspire confidence in their products. I would definitely prefer a stronger mint taste than its present formula, for as I mentioned, the actual flavor lacks somewhat in the nice taste department. Yet somehow manages to freshen the breath while providing proper mouth hygiene. 4.5 Stars.
Listerine Sensitivity Alcohol Free Mouthwash in Fresh Mint is something I like to use each day for as my mouth feels fresh and clean after each used. That this kills 99.9% bad breath. It has a less intense taste but works well. The taste is pleasant. I have been using morning and night, with my brushing of my teeth. Do not have to use a lot to do well. Had some teeth work done and my dentist recommended that I use a mouthwash. Plus, it helps with my dry mouth. Like this one so much better than the other Listerine I have try in the past.
This mouthwash definitely deserves the Listerine label. It is to be used twice a day after thoroughly brushing and rinsing your mouth. It is a clear, alcohol free mouthwash that is supposed to shield and protect the sensitive areas of the teeth by physically blocking dentin tubules. I currently use a toothpaste for sensitive teeth so it is difficult to determine the mouthwash's effectiveness for 24-hour relief of painful tooth sensitivity but I like it as a general mouthwash. I have the Fresh Mint flavor and it leaves my mouth feeling very clean and refreshed.
The first time I used the Listerine Sensitivity Alcohol-Free Mouthwash in Fresh Mint it took me by surprise because I was not expecting that from Listerine. I have tried non-alcoholic mouthwash before and most of them still have that distinct alcohol taste. Fortunately for me, the Listerine Sensitivity Alcohol-Free Mouthwash in Fresh Mint has that pleasant minty taste and no distinct alcohol taste. However, although I love this new Listerine Sensitivity Alcohol-Free Mouthwash in Fresh Mint, I was also surprised at how it left some sort of a film in my mouth. This is NOT a negative thing. I used other mouthwash before and they felt like water that you can wash away after you rinse. They leave you with a clean feeling but for some reason, you do not feel like your teeth are protected. The Listerine Sensitivity Alcohol-Free Mouthwash in Fresh Mint freshens your mouth but also leaves you with a minty film - almost like a fresh coating that wraps around your teeth. It is weird to describe but your mouth feels clean and your teeth are protected. I assume that minty filmy thing in your mouth is a guarantee that the Listerine Sensitivity Alcohol-Free Mouthwash in Fresh Mint is working right away. I really love using the Listerine Sensitivity Alcohol-Free Mouthwash in Fresh Mint. Although I do not have sensitive teeth, I love the feeling of freshness and guaranteed protection for my teeth. You do not need a lot to freshen your mouth. I normally use the cap itself to measure the mouthwash and that would be enough to use. My only concern is that a lot of people may not like the idea of having a “filmy” aftertaste in their mouth. The first time I used it, I kept rubbing my teeth with my tongue because I was not used to it but it made me realize that this Listerine Sensitivity Alcohol-Free Mouthwash in Fresh Mint is actively working. I would understand why people may get intimidated but once they try this Listerine Sensitivity Alcohol-Free Mouthwash in Fresh Mint and prove that it works right away, I can guarantee you that you will not want any other mouthwash. I highly recommend that you try the Listerine Sensitivity Alcohol-Free Mouthwash in Fresh Mint and it will make a believer out of you.
Using a mouthwash every day is a necessity for me. I like trying out different brands and products and Listerine is definitely one of the best on the market. Fresh breath on a daily basis is a must, also is a dental hygiene. I like the fact that this mouthwash is made without any unnecessary additional coloring that is usually used in most mouthwashes. It doesn't take much of a product to achieve a desired result and a long lasting, very fresh breath. I definitely appreciate that this product doesn't contain any alcohol, which is the best option for oral flora, as alcohol dries out the mouth. The only thing that I do dislike is a flavor of this Listerine mouthwash. It is indeed a little bit on a "sweet" side to me, it almost reminds me of a Spearmint gum, which I am not fond of. But in case if that is your favorite flavor, then most definitely, this mouthwash flavor will work for you. Overall, I am satisfied with the product, I know that my teeth, gums and overall dental health is in good hands with this product. I love the fact that this mouthwash actually has an ingredient that is supposed to shield and protect sensitive teeth. Thankfully I don't have that problem, but this would definitely be a product for everyone who struggles with tooth sensitivity.
Listerine Sensitivity Alcohol-Free Mouthwash in Fresh Mint is colorless, alcohol-free, and has a pleasant taste. It is meant to shield and protect sensitive areas of teeth. It is for use twice a day after brushing your teeth. After first use, I noticed a tight, dry sensation in my mouth which occurred after the first few uses. I like that you can feel it working. It is obvious that it coats the teeth after use. My only complaint is that per the instructions, you are to use two teaspoonfuls or ten milliliters of mouthwash, but Listerine Sensitivity Alcohol-Free Mouthwash does not come with a cup or cap that can be used to measure the recommended amount.
The most important thing is that it works. If you have sensitive teeth, this will help. If you are expecting it to taste minty fresh like your favorite mouthwash, it won't. That was a bit of a surprise. My son says it tastes a lot like hydrogen peroxide or baking soda. Not horrible, but not great either. I'm assuming that the ingredients that shield and protect your teeth can't be covered up easily. There is no menthol or eucalyptus in the ingredients. My teeth responded much quicker to this than using a toothpaste for sensitive teeth. The directions say to use 2 teaspoons twice a day and to not exceed that number. Curious about why? Bottom line is if you have sensitive teeth, it will work. The taste is an acquired taste, but worth it.
I received Listerine Sensitivity Alcohol Free Mouthwash as part of Walmart's Spark Reviewer Program. I have been using Listerine for years and I still do. I worry about gingivitis and of course bad breath so Listerine is a part of my daily routine. At times my teeth are sensitive to cold and sugary snacks. When these times arise I would definitely reach for Listerine Sensitivity mouthwash. When you use it it reaches all parts of your mouth unlike brushing. The taste is mild not overwhelming that your mouth burns. I will admit it is not the best tasting Listerine but the benefits outweigh the taste. I would use it when my teeth are sensitive but not all the time.
I don't have any tooth pain but sometimes my teeth can be sensitive depending on random circumstances. I tried the Fresh Mint flavor of this mouthwash after doing my regular tooth-brushing routine and man is it strong! It kind of burnt my tongue. I didn't like the flavor and it is really strong. I thought, because it has no alcohol in it that it would be mellow on the taste buds and mellow with its sting factor. You know, regular Listerine has kind of a sting or bite to it (to me). My 15-year-old son tried it and said,” It's tangy, really spicy. It's nasty. I don't like the aftertaste.” He did say his teeth felt cleaner afterwards, and then proceeded to rinse his mouth out with water multiple times. Even with all of that, he said he would use it again. I will leave this mouthwash for my husband who smokes and who could use a stronger mouthwash. The packaging does say it is meant for those 18 and older. If you like strong flavored mouthwash this is for you. As for whether it helps with tooth pain or sensitivity, unfortunately I can't speak to that because I can't use it because it taste's so gross to me and burns my tongue.
