Listerine Waxed Dental Floss, Mint Flavor, 55 Yards

I have the type of teeth that shred floss. There are many brands that simply do not work for me and the Reach brand does. This is the thinner, waxed type of floss. It moves smoothly between the teeth, has yet to shred on me, and has a very pleasant taste. This floss comes in minimal packaging, a clear envelope of plastic or some other similar product. The floss dispenses easily from its sturdy plastic container. Price is good too! No need for me to buy more expensive brands. Found nothing that I do not like about this floss. I definitely recommend it!

I am reviewing the Reach Waxed Floss in mint flavor. First of all I floss twice a day and I am very used to using the thicker, flat, " tape - style " dental floss . I have used regular dental floss but it was a long time ago when I was a child. I decided to give the Reach Waxed Floss a try anyway. It has a regular normal shape to it like a regular string. It definitely feels waxy and smells and also tastes minty and it works well. I was able to floss in between all of my teeth without shredding or breaking the dental floss which almost always happens to me with regular shaped dental floss and that is why I usually opt to get the thicker / flat type dental floss. What I liked about this particular brand and product is that after I was done flossing I could still feel the cool minty feeling in my mouth which was nice. A lot of other mint flosses on the market don't give a mint flavor that lasts after you are done flossing. Overall I would recommend this floss for your every day dental care. It is definitely a keeper for sure.

I've tried other brands of floss and it'd get stuck in my teeth or it would cut my gums. Reach doesn't give me any of those problems. The floss is smoothe and the mint flavor makes my mouth feel fresh and clean everytime. The vontainer is easy to open and close. Ive used floss that was a pain to use. Plus I always have enough to last me for a long time. I'd say this is the best brand of floss I use now.

I received my floss shortly after it was shipped. I found that using the Reach waxed floss in the mint was an easy process. It seems to be doing a good job and is easy to work with. I have some difficult teeth, some of which are capped, chipped, filled and even an implant. It doesn't fray or break as much as other dental floss I have used. It doesn't get stuck between my teeth as much either. I do have a couple very tight teeth and that is where the little bit of fraying happens. I just try to be more careful in the harder to reach areas or tight areas. Flossing can be time consuming, but I like the mint flavor. It feels clean and refreshing in my mouth. I don't feel the mint is overwhelming like some other floss. It certainly encourages me to floss more often and more regularly. The floss I have 55 Yds. The packaging is still small enough to place it in my purse. I expect that this floss will last me a long time. Overall, I believe this floss is well worth trying regardless of what you are using now. I am pleased that I tried it.

This product is not new to me. I have used it for years, twice a day every day and I plan to continue using it for the foreseeable future. It does not break or shred as some do and the mint flavor leaves a nice taste in my mouth. I like it!

I really like this floss. It is easy to use and you get a lot of it in the package. The mint Flavor is nice and not too harsh as it sometimes can be in dental products. I think this does a Great job of getting between the teeth.

Reach Waxed floss comes with an insert that provides instructions on how to use the floss, which is something I've never come across before with any other brand I've used. I think it's neat. If you're not already an experienced flosser, it definitely adds to the value of the product. The mint Reach floss has a strong enough flavor that you will taste it while you're flossing and for a little while afterwards, it's a pleasant fresh taste. The wax is thick and smooth enough to ease the way between teeth that are in alignment, and it worked great on all my teeth that are still in alignment. I have some that are starting to crowd again, and the Reach floss was a bit too thick to comfortably work on them.

I received the Reach Waxed 55 yard Floss in Mint in exchange for my honest review as part of the Spark Reviewer Program. As a person with receding gums, I have to be very careful when I brush and floss. I have tried many different flosses over the years, including ones recommended by dentists. I have found that the flat and wide waxed floss works best for me. The Reach floss is not one such floss. The Reach floss is very thin, and snags easily between my tightly set molars. This led to the floss fraying and shredding with more teeth yet to floss. In a pinch, I would use the Reach floss, but I would not use it daily. The mint flavor is fine--not overwhelming. I found the dispenser a bit tricky to start the floss, but once started it is not hard to pull the floss out and cut it to size. This is a larger box than a travel size, but it will fit in my make up bag as a back up flosser.

I do not like this floss very much. It feels too waxy. I feel like it leaves little wax particles in between my teeth. It does not slide between my teeth as easily as the flat satin floss. it is supposed to be mint flavored, but I do not really taste anything.It also feels like it cuts into my gums. As far as the packaging, I have no issues with that. It's your standard flip top. It has the little metal string cutting thing in there. I guess that's about all I can say about it. The bottom line is that this floss is not for me.
