It is light and can mount on wall or ceiling. Overall, it does the purpose and I am well satisfied with this emergency light.

We lost power due to a storm for a few hours one night and this light came on as soon as the power went out. My husband installed it in a dark hallway and it lit up the hallway perfectly. it was easy to install and is small enough that it fit in the corner perfectly.
