Little Debbie Family Pack Oatmeal Creme Pies

I'm sure these have lots of stuff in them that makes them unhealthy but "Moderation in all things" makes them easier to swallow (pun intended). They are a tasty treat when you crave a sweet. I limit myself to about one every 2-3 days, after a meal. ;-}

Little Debbie's are truly awesome snacks. They remind me of being a kid. I love the slightly larger size snacks in these family packs. It's like they scaled the size up from kid size to adult size! Little Debbie's were always the best snack cake quality and value, and they still are.

I'm a Little Debbie kid and remember sneaking into the kitchen for these delightful treats. The size has gotten smaller over the years and the price has increased but the quality is stll there. These are great for a snack or sometimes my entire meal if I am super busy. Individully wrapped. Soft cookie with white cream in the middle. McKee Baking has been around and making goodines for 92 years. I have tried the other brands to save money and in my opinion Little Debbie is just worth the extra money. Perfect sweet treat.

I know these have shrunk over the years, but i'm both older and fatter so it's probably for the best. My teenager enjoys the Little Debbie oatmeal creme pies. I've tried a few of the oatmeal creme pies and they always taste great. Never had a bad box. It's very difficult to eat just one of the oatmeal creme pies. These pies go great with tea and coffee.

So soft and creamy, with a soft oatmeal cookie on the outside. Bite into one of these and go back in time to summer vacations, family barbecues, chasing cousins through sprinklers in the yard. Your taste buds are going to be sooo happy when you bite into this deliciousness!!

I'm usually pretty health conscious and careful about what I eat but even knowing these have like 26 different additives in them I still can't say no to eating them because I like them as a snack so much. I'm okay with cheating my low carb no sugar diet for these when I'm craving sweetness for a snack. I'm also glad they don't have weird sprinkles or anything like that which would ruin the texture and the almost perfect creaminess of the frosting in the center.

I enjoy oatmeal cream pies, however lately it seems that the quality has been very hit or miss and inconsistent. Sometimes they seem overcooked and hard, sometimes they are so soft they are falling apart in my hand before I even eat them. I'll still keep buying them for now, because they are not inedible. But I do wish there was better quality control.
