the zebra snacks they are I think the house favorite of the Little Debbie they love them all but this is their first go to when they get here after ordering from Walmart and you just cannot beat that price at Walmart I'll call you try to go buy them anywhere else for the price that you going to buy them at Walmart you just can't do it thanks for Walmart
I have tried both types of Zebra Rolls which come in either a 'cake' form, or this 'roll' form. I think the rolls are denser and creamier, while the cakes are more airy and fluffy with more focus on the yellow sponge cake. I prefer the rolls for sure. Either way, they are both pretty good!
Healthy = No. Good = Yes. YOLO and I think it's okay to have things like this in moderation. Treat yourself once in a while. I ordered through Walmart Local Delivery Service (my first time) and the items arrived undamaged, on time, and were placed on my porch with care. I am very happy with the service received.
These are nice for a special treat, the cake was moist and there's a good amount of creamy filling inside. The frosting or coating on the outside is also nice. There is 1 thing I really hate about Little Debbie products and it's every single one of her products and this keeps me from buying them on a regular basis. The packaging. Good Grief the boxes are glued together with some super strong industrial glue and they are really difficult to open especially if you have arthritis. The boxes are designed not to open easily, every single inch of overlapping cardboard is glued together. I don't know why Little Debbie refuses to spot glue the open flap so we can flip it open easily. Breaking these boxes down for recycling is a major pain in the behind. Why Debbie? Why do you make your boxes so difficult to open and break down? Do you not realize that it's annoying and consumers think about this when they make a purchase? Now that your prices are almost as high as Hostess who has easy open boxes and easy to break down boxes should I pick Little Debbie over Hostess? To me the slight saving isn't worth the extra trouble of trying to open your boxes and break them down. I forgot about that part when I ordered this product but I promise I'll remember it next time.
I like the fancy cakes over Zebra cakes. Im not that big into chocolate unless it is with peanut butter. so I prefer this type of treat in general. This was the first time trying the Zebra roll. I like tgem much better then the swiss rolls and the Zebra cakes. Maybe because these have more cream then the cake? I would definitely buy these again.
a little of snacks have suffered from downsizing and saving. the size of the cakes and quality of the ingredients often suffer. that's cakes have stayed the same quality.
I've always loved zebra cakes, and I love the zebra rolls even more. However, the last couple of times I've bought them, they've had a salty taste to them. I understand a little bit of salt helps bring out the flavor in baked goods, but you shouldn't be able to taste it. I don't think I'll be buying these anymore.
Normally when I order these they come straight from the local store and are less than $3. After the rest of my order arrived as normal, I realized this was coming separate and that I was charged over $11. It finally arrived almost two weeks later, from California (to Florida), squished.
Usually we love these but the last 2 times we got them they were dry and the very last time they were delivered in a bad with a pack of 100 paper plates and they were all smooshed.
