I gave this as a Valentines gift to my 4 year old granddaughter with a card telling her "She means the worked to me". I. was amazed at how quickly she learned what the buttons were for and how to use the pen to locate countries. Very well made and very easy to open and setup.
We have not given it as a gift yet, but in looking at it appraising it I was very, very impressed. Thank you for the opportunity of a shop from Walmart. Thank you.
It's an excellent Christmas Gift for my 6 year old grandson, we played the game pointing locations for 2 hours I enjoyed a lot to study what my grandson interested in.
Bought as a Christmas gift for my grandson
useful and helpful learning tool.
It's a decent product with an attractive, colorful and easily readable presentation. It seems to be good quality and very sturdy but the base isn't weighted so it doesn't stay put which is pretty annoying. It doesn't do much else beside speak the name of the place you're pointing to and ask trivia questions you will get three attempts to get the right answer but it never gives the right answer if you get all three wrong. It doesn't light up or have the constellations feature like many others do so it can't be used as a nightlight or projector. It works as advertised but it's overpriced for the few functions that it offers.
Gave as a gift for a 9 year old, but found his father and uncle playing with it after he went to bed. So fun for a variety of ages. It is pricy.
Contains many interesting facts, and keeps my son entertained and learning at the same time!
I'm returning as this was a Christmas gift. The trivia game controller was missing. Contacted the seller and had to leave a voicemail. The globe is plastic and not worth $80 without the educational experience. The pointer and recorded facts portion was okay, except distance is measured in kilometers, but the interactive game play of trivia facts was what sold me that this would be a fun toy for me to play with my 6 year old granddaughter. It n hindsight, it is overpriced.
I felt as though it misrepresented itself. It talks through a microphone, not the globe itself. In the center.Keys on the globe are microtenhard for a child to see very confusing panel and structions not easy to operate for age sugg.\nEsted
