I have not had the chance to use it in a beehive yet but upon receiving, I know this will be a solid addition to a hive. The joints are neat and secure, the handle is nicely constructed, the wood is thick and it smells great. There is a nice amount of room around the frames so they won't be packed like sardines. Overall, my expectations have been exceeded! I know my bees will love this.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was very interested in setting this up in my back yard to see if it would help bring local bees but also help with pollination. Maybe it was just the area that I live in but I couldn't get anything to actually start a hive. I have kept it up just incase in hopes that something happens. But it is very sturdy and super cute!

Not bad for the price. Would have given 4 stars, except it took a terrible beating during shipment and arrived damaged. Great hive for beginners if you're prepared to make repairs before you even get to use it.
