Superb construction Very stable fully extended - confident when standing up there Quick height adjustment - very solid The wider rungs and the platform make it easy on your feet The Air Deck is great for stabilizing support and holds tools or a paint can I have wanted a Little Giant ladder for years but I'm glad I waited for the Select Step
works great I just used it on a job that I would have had to have three ladders to do the job and I only needed this one
Love it. Changes all smoke detector batteries no sweat, including stairwell. Easy to move and step up. You feel steady and safe.
My son-in-law borrowed my husband's ladder and loved it, so I bought him one for Christmas. He was thrilled.
Too heavy for my wife to carry but very compact storage. Great for return vents on my 12 foot ceiling new house. Recommended, not the cheapest investment but it will be the last stepladder you purchase INMHO
I got this for a Christmas present for my husband,,,He loves it!
This is my second Little Giant ladder. They are very well made and very sturdy. My first ladder was larger and needed for reaching up to 24 feet but it was also pretty heavy. My new purchase has all of the same quality without the extra weight. Of course it's reach is half of the big ladder but it's great for most work.
I needed a ladder with a minimum 10' height. This one is nice because it's a simple to use it as a 6' ladder for most of my needs, but occasionally I need the extra height. Having one ladder to do the job of 2 was the main reason for this purchase, but I also think the extra features justified the higher cost. It takes a while to get use to manipulating those features, e.g. manipulating the legs, hooking up the tray, etc, but after using it a few times it's gotten simpler. The biggest negative is the weight. Being a 6' male in pretty good shape I have no problem handling it, but my 5' wife who is not that strong, doesn't want to use it. Knowing this now, I might have paid more for a lighter fiberglass version - something you should consider.
I like the flexibility of storing in a smaller space compared to the 12-foot A-ladder I had as well as easy moving with the wheels. The attachment that goes on the top to hold on to as well as placing tools/paint can is very handy and gives a feel of comfort at that height. I have used it couple of times now and I am acrophobic (fear of heights) and still feel comfortable with this ladder reaching 14 feet high work.
We received a used ladder in poor condition. Big black scratches and marks on the metal. I don't know how an employee would over look this and send it to us. Returned.
