Little Giant Model 17 Fast Setup Light Weight Stable Type 1A Velocity Ladder

As a single women home owner, I needed to invest in a ladder that was tall, but lightweight and easy to use... this ladder is everything! Love it! I need to get accustomed to the narrow steps, but it is just what I was looking for!

I have a bigger version from a different company. This one is much lighter and has wheels so it's a lot more mobile. I will continue to use the bigger one when I need to go up higher, but most jobs this one, being easier to move around, will be the one I use.

Owning three Little Giant ladders it is a given that Little Giant is my ladder of choice. They are very well constructed of excellent materials. They are sturdy when standing on them and they are light enough that a 75 year old like me can handle them. Besides, I have the ones with rollers and they roll easily across the driveway or yard. They are easily adjustable for different heights and configurations. Whether you have a big job or a small job they are the Giant of All Ladders. This ladder is a major replacement for other ladders of this design that I own. This ladder is much lighter than my other ladders. It is thinner than other ladders but is very easy to transport and use. The side locks makes it easier to adjust the height either up or down without having to lay it down to make those adjustments. The built in rolling wheels helps move the ladder long distances without having to pick it up and carry it. Very pleased with my purchase and would highly recommend it to anyone.

This is by far the most versatile ladder I've ever owned in my 40 years of ladder ownership. Easy to use with so many different heights and configurations possible. Super easy storage as well! It was deliver from Sams right to our door step; could not have been easier.

I absolutely love it. I have waited a long time to purchase a Little Giant ladder and at this price, the time was right. It works exactly as described and it's not too heavy. The hinge button and rock locks are easy to engage. When it arrived, I took it out of the box and had a reason to use it right away. If you are on the fence about buying one, jump off and do it. You will not regret your decision.

Good sturdy ladder, it came without directions or much information on use at their website. letting it down can get away from you if you are not careful, it appeared you needed both hands to release the two locks, one on each rail. Instead you need to lock one out at a time maintaining one hand to control the collapse.

very good service from sam's club online staff. item shipped and arrived promptly as promised. 17 foot little giant velocity is versatile, but your hands get blackened from handling it, it is also not compatible with an AirDeck Workstation accessory.

It's so easy to use and manipulate into different positions. I love that you can be on either side of the ladder when it's in the spread position. I got it at $70 off too, so that helps. While's it's probably worth it's price without a discount, I'd highly recommend buying with some sort of discount or promotion. I'll also say this: when it's fully extended and I'm a few rungs from the top, it's got a little give that makes me somewhat uncomfortable. I'm sure it's fine, but it's more give than I'm used to with ladders at that height.

The ladder was a gift for Christmas. The only time I've used it was to take down Christmas lights and clean out the gutters at the same time. If you are going to spend much time on this ladder you need to have strong solid soles on the shoes or boots you wear. The rungs on this ladder as thin and not very wide and will at some point make your feet sore if you don't. Getting used to pushing in the knobs at the mid section of the ladder and sliding the extensions up and down is a new experience that you have to get used to and understand the easiest way to do that, so far I haven't yet.
