Little Live Pets - Lil' Dippers: Pippy Pearl

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's so hard to get bath toys for a 6 year old because nearly everything is marketed at babies and toddlers! So I was happy to find this one. Make sure to follow the instructions on the outer sleeve so that the fish can swim out of the bag on its own. It took a minute or two but my daughter loved this part of it. It activates when it hits the water and starts flapping it's tail fin to swim around the bath. It comes with a little feeder that looks like a lipstick which the fish is attracted to (by a magnet) which gives an extra play element. My daughter is asking for the other ones in the range now :)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had this for a few days now and it is a really good toy. You put the bag in water and the Marina Ballerina floats along. There is also a feeding tool to interact with the pet fish as the fish follows it and swims around. Really good toy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter loves her little live pet fish. Although fish size is bit small but it's movements are just like a real fish. Perfect gift to make bath times more enjoyable. It is certainly worth buying. Highly recommended

The colours are vibrant and love the fact the bag dissolves when you place it in water. Would definitely recommend.

She's wonderful, colourful mix of blues/pinks/purples so bright enough to find in amongst the mountain of bubbles my little girl likes to fill the tub with. Soft to the touch so fun to hold and play with and as soon as she touches the water her tail starts to move and she starts swimming around. Such a fun and clever little toy. My 6 year old was awed and loved her, smaller children will love how magical she is. 10/10 a perfect gift for any young child.

My daughter put it in the bathtub to swim while she is in there and it's so fun. It comes with very clear instructions how to use it for first time, how to put it in the water. When the fish touches the water starts swimming immediately. The fish is so colorful and well made. Our is a girl and her name is Pinky-blue. She is our pet now and my daughter loves to give her to eat with her little bottle. Great toy for kids. Recommend it.

However because it's on the small side it's quite flimsy and can be damaged easily if dropped, definitely wouldn't recommend it to a child under 10 years old. That being said, it's a colourful little pet and great for kids who want their own pet without the actual need of having the responsibility

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's a fantastic little pet keeping my 4year old occupied. when submerged in water it pops out and swims about like a real fish. Needs a bowl for it to move in and it is a good fake pet that you can role play with. It's a good size.

They're great until the batteries die. Once you open the battery compartment, you'll find rust and black water. Replacing the batteries, drying it out, cleaning out the battery compartment... none of that won't make it work again. My daughter had 2 of these and both were done after the initial batteries died. No, they weren't left in water and they were dried off after every use. I think it's because the battery compartment is not waterproof. Water gets into the fish and damages the motor.
