My son loved the entire experience of this toy! He loves his guinea pig family. He takes care of them every morning and after school. I even took it to his class and they participated in taking care of the guinea pig and waited for one to be born.

Our youngest tot has been wanting Mama Surprise Guinea Pig for almost 2 year. Reading reviews and the cost I didn't purchase. Our girls have so many food sensitivities we were a bit broken. Over Easter I thought well we can't eat candy but we sure will play so I picked one up in store on sale. Make sure you have/get 6 AAA batteries. I read the directions and watched a video. There are 2 modes. Slow which delivers the 3 babies within 2 days and fast mode which is 10 minutes. You have to pet, feed and brush her to until her hewrt lights up. place hwr in her cage while it is on the mode you prefer. Her heart and the cage will have pulsating heart beats when synced correctly. Our girls prefer thr 10 minute mode. They have had her birth 5 times already. They come with a little present for each with accessories to wear. Hair elastics, barrettes, glasses, and mini birth certificates. You can reload the babies over and over again. You must Even the presents too. You must care for mama between each delivery to make her sing and heart light up. She does not deliver 3 all at once nor all in a row. We have had no issues with them getting stuck. Our girls didnt know how they loaded at first to make it more funny. I kept it a secret. I was really cautious purchasing for a long time. I have no regrets getting it this toy. Again I did purchase it on sale.

My animal loving kid loved this. It works just as it says. And you have the choice to have it do a speedy delivery or slow delivery of the babies. It also allows you the option to reset it and put the babies back in if you want. (See pic). The mama guinea pig makes noises but they aren't super annoying. I like that it came with paper bedding and that the cage was a carrying case that's easily moved about.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What a great little toy this is. Definitely worth buying as a Christmas present. I was a bit sceptical if my 7 year old would like it but she absolutely loved it. It's very easy to set up and I really liked that you can choose at what speed you want the babies to appear either every 15 minutes or the first one after 15 min and the following 2 after 10 hours. We chose to wait 10 hours. Not sure how patient kids younger would be but you can choose the fast setting for them. You can also pop the babies back into the storage and do it all over again. The mummy has 20 different sound effects, one of which is when you feed her and another when you stroke her. When the babies appear, they come with a little birth certificate to fill out, a hair clip and hair band as well has an accessory. Overall is great to for children between 4-8 I would say

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This toy is for my little ones 8th birthday and its absolutely adorable so cute and fluffy the mummy and babies.The cage and Guinea pigs are bigger then I was expecting so was a pleasant surprise .The size of guinea pig is smiliar to a real life live one without the mess and cleaning up after so a win win..With this Toy you get hours of fun so definitely would recommend.

absolutely adorable!!! such a hit with our 6 yr old. she was amazed by how she had babies. even us adults were mesmerized.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have never seen anything quite like this, it's a Guinea pig that ‘gives' birth. So you get a hutch with some hay (made from paper), 3 babies with accessories that are stored in the top of the hutch before being born and some celery for the Guinea pig to eat. So to use it, switch on both the Guinea pig and hutch, ensuring to switch to fast or slow birthing. To get Guinea to give birth you have to stroke her and feed her until her heart lights up and then put her in the hutch and close the door. Above the hutch door should also light up. You then have to wait, can be 10 minutes or an hour. When the time is up the latch inside opens and the baby and accessories come through and when open hutch the baby is there. My daughter loved waiting for the babies to be born, you have to do the process for each of the births. Only thing I would say is that once she has given birth to all 3 babies it has kind of lost its novelty. My daughter looks after the Guinea pigs, feeding and playing but hasn't tried to do the births again. Overall this is a great toy, it's fun, different and has provided hours of fun for my daughter, she loves having a pet! I would definitely recommend it for those with children wanting to look after a pet.
