[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The step stool itself was super easy to put together and it didn't take long to put together. I love the color of the ebony one. It is kind of big and bulky. I absolutely love the fact that I can change how high I want my kids to go or if I need it to be low. Changing it from high to low is super easy as well. It's a great height when it is on the top level, my kids can easily reach what they need to. It holds up to 200 lbs which is amazing! It comes with non slip feet stickers to apply to the steps. With this step stool there is no more grabbing a chair and possibly having my kids fall over. The step stool has like a guard so they aren't falling forward. We use it when they brush their teeth, for helping in the kitchen, and just about everything else. I highly recommend for parents or grandparents who have little kids.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a very little three year old and a normal step stool isn't tall enough to get her to a place where she can spit in the sink while brushing teeth. This step stool has the option of a taller step which gives her independence and she is actually excited to brush her teeth because of it. My six year old also loves it because when she stands on it she is taller than me. I like it because it is strong enough to hold my weight and is tall enough that I can reach the top shelves of our storage closet. It is very sturdy and strong, but that also means it is heavy (and large) so it generally stays in front of the sink and doesn't get moved unless absolutely necessary. For assembly, the directions recommend two people and that definitely would have been easier, but I was able to do it myself. One thing to know is that when my six year old (a little past 4 feet) is on the tallest step, she can't reach the handles so if you are hoping for something really contained, this isn't necessarily it. However, I don't think she really needs the handles right at her sides since she is more steady on her feet at that age.

I had to return this item, as one of the pieces was cracked. I tried resolving this with the seller via email, but did not get a timely response, so I returned it.
