Little Tikes: 4-In-1 Dog Park & Pet Shop Ballpit - Pop Up Tent & Tunnel, 20 Balls, 2 inflatable Dogs, Pretend Play Shop, Toddler & Kids Ages 3+

I love the idea of a pet shop %26 dog park for all stages of active %26 imaginative play! I actually use this with my 8-month-old son, ONLY with supervision, of course. One thing he LOVES is that he can climb out of the ballpit himself--really, just by crawling. The walls flatten, then spring back up. What makes that wonderful? Well, first, he feels like HE is in control of his experience and it's given him more confidence to play in the ballpit. He likes to kinda 'swim' in it! Second of all, the walls are resilient to reasonable play. I don't think there's a toy out there that can't be willfully destroyed, unless it's about as fun as a rock. But this is made to last a VERY long time if children will follow respectful principles most of the time. I would say I wish it could be 'configured' in different ways, but that is not a big deal. Assembly was a breeze. While you can add water to the bottom of the two big "puppy" inflatables, at least for now I like them lighter to bounce around for my young song. He loves the ball pit. By nature of how it works, it's a bit messy, but the price point was amazing for all this toy is. My husband couldn't believe it so easily 'popped out' of the box to be all that it is! It wouldn't be difficult to store, either, other than deflating the inflatables (as is always the case). I am looking to get a little interior inflatable 'pool' just to keep the balls from leaking out the sides so much. However, it doesn't leak a ton and in the scheme of things it is not a big deal. The older your child gets, the deeper you can make the ball pit, if you choose, simply by adding more balls. There are TONS of options out there. The balls that come with it are great, by the way. They're good value %26 durability. As my son gets older, I know he's going to love the imaginative play aspect. We have 4 doggos (3 rescues and 1 disabled) and he adores them. He will love to play pet shop or vet. He can also use the inflatable dogs as rescues to 'advertise' in the park for adoption days. :) It's a cool design and I'm very happy with my purchase. One other thing--I really like the windows and how the tent itself doesn't feel claustrophobic. I could see a real age range of kids loving this obstacle-course/make-believe-play design. I had scoured the internet for ballpits and I'm very happy with the one we decided on purchasing.
