Little Tikes First Self-Checkout, Play Cash Register

We bought this for my son for Christmas last year and he plays with it all the time. The scanner makes a noise, it has the handheld scanner and a card reader. The noises aren't constant and are accurate cash register sounds. I like that it doesn't have all of the unnecessary sounds.

Our grandchildren love playing with this Little Tykes cash register. They set up their own play store and spent hours pretending. Little Tykes has always been a very well made toy producer, and this does not disappoint. I am sure it will last. Has a place to put a credit card, a drawer for money, and a scanner.

Purchased for 4 year old - all the kids at the birthday party jumped on it to play. 6-year old is really enjoying it as well. We looked at quite a few options, and this was a good balance of cost and still a robust toy with fun options. They love the cash register ring sound - which they have never heard before!

it was very well-made and my granddaughter was so excited to get this. She had blood work done and was so brave so we bought her that and she was so happy it came the next day. Thank you Walmart.

my son loves the scanner on this. money doesn't hold up to a 3 year old though but still a good purchase

I haven't actually tried this one yet. We do have another one but the grandkids fight over it. So that's why I'm purchasing the pink one for my granddaughter.

Bought this for my granddaughter's 4th birthday. It is cute and sturdy and has a number of features that will provide her with a realistic shopping experience. Priced below other similar toys.

Huge hit with the kids. I do wish the money was a little sturdier, it is just thin paper. I did end up laminating it before letting the kids play with it because I know it would have been destroyed in seconds if I didn't.

I'm honestly disappointed with this Little Tikes toy. It has so much more potential. The only appealing part is it is very realistic looking. But it's VERY limited on what you can actually do with it especially for the price tag. I had bought previously bought the target cash register at a thrift shop which I just had thrown it away because my kids are rough. But it did so much more than this one.. the keypad on that cash register actually worked. It added the total up. This key pad on this toy does ABSOLUTELY NOTHING besides makes a different beeping noise when you stick the credit card in. So basically with this little tikes cash register you can use two scanners and Pop open the cash register drawer by turning it clockwise. The target cash register I had had a button that you just pressed and opened the drawer. Like I said, I think this price tag was way too high for the limited amount of things this toy can do. Visually it is absolutely beautiful, but play wise. It's basically worthless. I paid almost $40 for this with tax.

package was delivered in the rain, with holes in the delivery package, and item got soaked and now doesnt work.
