Little Tikes Turtle Sandbox, Indoor Outdoor for Toddlers Ages 2+ Years

Grandson loved it. Filled with small plastic balls and can also be filled with water or sand. Very durable and lid is perfect to store for later playing. Highly recommend.

Great quality little sandbox. Our 1.5 year old loves it. Wish it was a little bit bigger - but for the price, it makes sense and is worth it.

This is the third turtle sandbox I have bought! I have bought one for each of my grandchildren (they each live in different families obviously just in case you were imagining three in one garden!), for their first birthday and each of them has loved it. You do need a brick to hold the lid on and that does distort the lid over time. My own children had a sandbox from the early learning centre which had a clip on lid, a much better design.

Sandbox is light weight and holds 3 bags of playground sand. It is the perfect size for up to two children to play. The lid is light so my 2 yr old daughter can take the lid off by herself.

I purchased it for my Grand Children. They have got numerous hours of entertainment and creativity. We have put a net over the lid held down with tent pegs to keep the rain and animals out of the sand, it is very windy where they are. I guess my only question is why did I not purchase it sooner. Thank you.

The lid is so light weight that it blew off right away. I used 2 bricks propped on the sides to hold it down . Anything laid on top caves it in. Perhaps some sort of side latch could be developed. Otherwise it is an all purpose good sand box.

Smaller then thought it would be...we thought the dimensions were for the actual sand portion not including trim and legs of turtle part. Overall it works for us at the moment but not big enough for two toddlers to sit in at once...only works if both on the outside which my kid does not like doing. The lid is nice to have but we do have to weigh it down when it is very windy or it blows off.

I bought this sandbox for my grandson and the material is much thinner than it was 15 years ago when I purchased one for my youngest child. The lid is so lightweight now that you will have to set something on top of it to keep the wind from blowing it off. Little Tikes should have kept the same quality and increased price.

I sent it back because it came in a box and had several pieces to put it together even the lid was in pieces. The one in the picture is one piece plus the lid not several pieces.
