I'm not using this as an air freshener - although it smells divine, so I would. I read an RV post where it was recommended to use this vanilla scented product to keep flies out. Of all the places I lived, this apartment is the first to be plagued with flies every summer. I might have 8 at a time! Desperate situations call for desperate measures, so I'm hopeful. I've had it us for 3 days now, and no flies in the house. Bonus: my entryway smells like heaven, and it follows me a short way inside. So, if you need a really nice air freshener, use this. And if you have flies, try it. Maybe it will work.

These are my favorite for my car. I have tried so many and none are as good as this one. My car was smelling like a dumpster so I had to do something. So glad I bought these. Now I don't want to vomit every time I get into my car. I bought two so I can have one on backup.

I got these Vanilla car fresheners to use as Mosquito and Fly repellent in my yard. I read about it online. And they Work!!! We hung them up around the patio to deter flying pests bc we get bit every time we sit out on the patio. Since we hung the vanilla 'trees' up, NO BITES!!! 👍🏻

Great scent and helps keep flies away! I use them in my chicken run and coop (where the chickens can not get to them of course) and they work like a charm! Just wish they were more affordable as they are pretty pricey.

I got these to put in a few Fern hanging baskets to stop the birds from destroying them with nest as they pull them apart and make a big mess.. These pine scented tree's keep the birds out and they don't hurt the plant. just stock it inside the plant. they work even after getting wet too.

These air fresheners are made for vehicles. I bought them to freshen my studio apt. They satisfied immediately because of the fresh scent. However, they are meant for enclosed spaces and, with a window air conditioner, the constant circulation of air does not make them 100% effective for a room. If they are used for the purpose intended, they are fine.

The scent is very nice, but lasts a very short time. Used in my car, in each room in house and seems to work for about 1-2 days. After that nothing. I go out of the house for an afternoon and return to no scent. My car last only 2 days and nothing after that.
