Finding an affordable shampoo in a grocery store that doesn't have chemicals and sodium lauryl sulfate is very difficult. I was pleasantly surprised to find the Live Clean line of hair care products. The first thing that attracted me was the fact that the products are free of many chemicals including petroleum, silicone, parabens, and sodium lauryl sulfate. they're also never tested on animals and vegan. These are huge factors to consider especially because the price is very affordable. The scent was nice and light, not overbearing. The product was light and clean with a light scent. There are just so many positives about live clean's Apple Cider detox shampoo that I would wholeheartedly recommend this product to anyone. It really doesn't hurt anyone at all since it's vegan and even the packaging is eco-friendly and biodegradable!! My mom and I especially will definitely use this in our daily hair hygiene regimen due to its natural, plant based ingredients and that is because we're extremely sensitive to ingredients in everyday products that usually have hidden chemicals which irritate our bodies, hence why we lean toward anything organic. Now one of my favorite things about the Apple Cider detox shampoo is actually the smell! It literally smells like fresh picked apples. It's astounding that it's 98% derived from plants so I doubt the fragrance is artificially created. I also love how my hair feels and looks after the shower. It's touted as a detox shampoo and it does just that! The apple cider vinegar is what pulls away dull residue and the chamomile as well as the sunflower seed oil is what gives back my hair its shine and moisture. I also use a lot of dry shampoo and this product really removes any product buildup on my scalp. Smells a little like apples but not too fragranced. Highly recommend!

I was excited to try the Live Clean Apple Cider Detox shampoo because I heard that using apple cider vinegar on natural hair suits as a great cleanser. Being that this product is paraban, silicone, Phthalate, and phosphate free, i was weary that I'd have to use more product to create a better lather; but to my surprise, this shampoo provides a really thick lather. I use a lot of products in my hair to keep it moisturized, generally causing buildup at the end of a couple days. Live Clean apple cider shampoo states it ‘removes dulling residue', at which I definitely attest that it does. After two washes with this product, my hair felt super clean and refreshed. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's a nice apple smell (and I'm not fond of apple scented things) it's very light and clean smelling. The shampoo did leave my hair feeling kind of dry after I rinsed it but I followed up with the conditioner & then a 6 minute hair mask to be on the safe side. I do like this detox because I am one of those girls that wash my hair every 5 days or so. I was a little spectacle at first but I like it does it's job... would I purchase to be continued.
