Live Clean Apple Cider Detox Shampoo, 12 oz. Bottle

Finding an affordable shampoo in a grocery store that doesn't have chemicals and sodium lauryl sulfate is very difficult. I was pleasantly surprised to find the Live Clean line of hair care products. The first thing that attracted me was the fact that the products are free of many chemicals including petroleum, silicone, parabens, and sodium lauryl sulfate. they're also never tested on animals and vegan. These are huge factors to consider especially because the price is very affordable. The scent was nice and light, not overbearing. The product was light and clean with a light scent. This has a really nice apple scent to it. the ingredients are pretty clean and I feel safe using this on my 5 year old as well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This shampoo and Live Clean Apple Cider Ultra Light Conditioner have helped my thinning hair a lot. I have lost a lot to Lupus but I am telling you, no shampoo or conditioner has made my hair as soft. I also had a tendency to have a dry scalp but greasy hair after a few days and NO GREASY HAIR. I can actually use the conditioner and my hair has not felt cleaner.

I was excited to try the Live Clean Apple Cider Detox shampoo because I heard that using apple cider vinegar on natural hair suits as a great cleanser. Being that this product is paraban, silicone, Phthalate, and phosphate free, i was weary that I'd have to use more product to create a better lather; but to my surprise, this shampoo provides a really thick lather. I use a lot of products in my hair to keep it moisturized, generally causing buildup at the end of a couple days. Live Clean apple cider shampoo states it ‘removes dulling residue', at which I definitely attest that it does. After two washes with this product, my hair felt super clean and refreshed. This is a great shampoo. My daughter has very fine oily hair and this shampoo helps prevent her hair from getting so oily throughout the day. It doesn't have a strong vinegar smell and it has a good texture. I would highly recommend this to anyone with fine oily hair.

This is a great shampoo for individuals with damaged hair that gets knotted easily. After using it, my hair didn't feel as heavy. It also smells so good. I then followed with the Apple Cider Conditioner and then my hair felt much better. I could easily run my fingers through it. Brushing it was quick.

I love the fact that it is a clean product with no chemicals that affect your body and you. It lathers pretty good. There's not much of lather but it does its job. I have a dry scalp so I would say it did not affect me in a negative way. I would buy again. I will say it does smell really good although the smell doesn't last as much after the shower. I also don't like how it is a clean product yet it comes in a plastic bottle so maybe the packaging could be changed. I have short hair so to me the bottle lasts quite a bit.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the smell of this shampoo. It has a fresh scent that makes me feel fresh and clean. It lathers well, even though i use just a small amount. I guess it is really detoxifying as it almost get rid all the natural oil and moisture of my hair. Though i love the scent and feeling clean after wash, i felt that my hair has been extra dry. Maybe not advisable for everyday use.

I will say, it's not one I could use every day because it started drying my hair out, but this is perfect for like once or twice a week. And, LOVED the smell!

I started the new year with a resolution to go more earth friendly, so I am trying this shampoo and conditioner. I only wash my hair once a week because I don't have alot of natural oil in my skin and scalp. Most shampoo and conditioners I use leave my hair unmanageable. I am hoping this one is different. It felt different using it, meaning the lather was thicker and the conditioner more easily spread over my hair. So as for now, I give it three stars. I will be back after a second or third use to amend my review if necessary.
