I use these in my shark vacuum. It had little thin ones, but when I bought replacements, I bought these and glad I did. They're super easy to use. Not sure the directions say you can, but I wash mine in warm water after I use the vacuum and the filters look almost new again. They pick up and keep dirt inside the canister really good. They provide really good suction as well. I not necessarily per directions put my setting on vacuum to carpet and go. I have cement floors and throw rugs, and I can use it on all the floors. Oh yeah, I'm shark vacuums all the way :0)
