I just received this couch but if you are looking for comfort it's not really all that comfortable. I am using as a bed and it is very stiff and you can't just sit there for awhile without feeling it. However, I do recommend if you would like to have a pull out for company.

I'm easy to impress, so I'll try to be fair in this review even though I personally love this couch already. I see this a lot with sofa beds, but it is very firm. I personally don't mind firm and I'm sure a good mattress topper can fix it right up for guests who want a softer surface. The worse part I believe is how you plug the couch in for the USB ports. The main cord is sewn in and comes out the bottom. If anything happens to that cable, I dont think there's going to be a nice way to save it and replace it. The ports are powered by that USB cable plugged into a provided adapter. There are three ports on the side next to the cup holder and tray, 2 USB and 1 USB-C, so I would be very carful when handling any liquids. But honestly, the second worse thing is the cup holder size. It is an unfortunate 3 inches in diameter and 2.25 inches deep. I grabbed the most thin cup I had on me and it does not fit. On the other hand there is a built in tray on the side of the couch and you can very well put any cup you want on there. The tray is pretty sturdy. My cats are all around 11lbs and they lounge on it easy. So cups on only one side of the couch, but because it's not a holder it could be a spill hazard being next to the USB ports. This is more a pet owner thing, but the pull out part becomes an under that your little friends can run into. I'm personally a little uncomfortable with that as I don't want them to get hurt if I don't realize they're under there. I would make sure you always do a head count of your pets, or even small kids, before you close it up. The storage top opens really tall! It's an easy open so don't expect to hit yourself in the chin a lot. It stays open which is really nice, but it popped open a lot as I was putting it on it's side in assembly. The storage itself is pretty alright! About 9 inches deep and goes all the way to the back of the couch. Just don't over stuff, as it won't close that good. Assembly was a breeze! I'm a bit small at 4'11", but even I was able to put this thing together with a bit of elbow grease. There is not a bunch of parts the couch is mostly pre-built. Just 4 screws and sliding sections together. I get the feeling compared to other furniture that it might come off as small. I don't have the best sense of scale myself , again 4'11" it is a perfect for me, so I put a ruler in the pictures as reference. Sofa bed as a couch I would say it works pretty good. Sofa bed as a bed comes in 2 sizes, but I think with the back up it's a full mattress size, with the back down it gets closer to a very squared queen size. There is no padding for the back except the back pillows, and again it's pretty firm. A mattress topper might be a good bundle purchase to make with this sofa bed. I got this couch during a sale and I'm really happy with it! I don't think I would've gotten it full priced, but it is what it says it is! I hope this helps!

The sofa itself for the price isn't bad especially when it's put together. Thing is they gave me the same brackets for both ends that have to slide into each other so I couldn't get none of the arm rest to fit or the couch itself to fit into the other couch I had to waste more money and go to Home Depot to get the right parts just so I can put the whole couch together.

Figures why it was so cheap and to think I waited about a month Item came broken and ripped instructions were very unclear pieces missing for screw holes Some screws wouldn't even screw in at all to get through the first step or we're way too loose in the screw hole and would pop right back out

came damaged, the holes for the legs were bored out too deep into wide the legs will not stay in.

This is ridiculously small and so uncomfortable It's smaller then a twin size bed. Don't buy this
