I was surprised to find these ribs at my local Menards store, for $8.99 for a full rack. I purchased one, just to try it out, and couldn't believe how flavorful, tender (fall off the bone!), juicy and delicious these ribs are, as well as the ease with which they are to serve. Wrap in foil, pop into the oven or onto the grill and in 20 minutes you have a wonderful meal that your friends or family will think you slaved over. I returned to my Menards and picked up a few more packages (and the freezer case is indeed selling out quickly!) and took two with on a camping trip. A few other campers stopped by to oooh and aahhh over the delicious smell of the ribs warming on the grill, and I ended up sharing. NONE of the other campers could believe they were frozen, pre-cooked ribs! They ALL swore to look for the Lloyd's products in their local stores or online! Bottom line: VERY consistent flavor and tenderness in 5 different packages and VERY similar votes of "YUM" from very different people who tasted. Even the sauce was a hit with everyone!
Lloyds BBQ backribs are one of the best BBQ ribs on the market. Very tender when cooked right.
Awesome flavor and easy to prepare.
Okay so i read the reviews and im quite shocked that some people are dissing these ribs!!!! They are my go to favorite and i have always enjoyed these ribs. If you're very hungry (would not recommend) you can pop these bad boys into the microwave and theyre still pretty good. Other miwse cook them like i do. Wrapped in foil, 40 min in 375 oven temp. They ARE very meaty and delicious. Dont listen to the bad reviews. I would recommend to everyone. Seriously!!!
We have had these ribs numerous times and have always been satisfied. To me, these are as good as some ribs I've gotten in restaurants. Plus, they're so convenient to prepare. The sauce is a little bland, but I can fix that up easily.
You have got to be kidding me. These cannot be from an animal. Someone in a lab has to be creating this awful rubber. Not even the 5lbs of tomato paste can create a taste so plain and boring. Trying to tear the meat off the wood they call a bone is like pulling back a runnerband in your teeth. Your hoping it doesn't come back and slap you in the mouth. If anyone likes these you have never had meat from a grill before. If you enjoyed these you should just become a vegetarian and give up meat altogether. Or maybe you like these because this can not be meat but from the devil himself trying to take the fun out of eating itself .
I've boughten ribs for years and these are the worst ones that I EVER bought! There's hardly any meat on them. What there is of the meat is like glued to the bone, grizzly, stringy and tasteless. I bought them for a special birthday dinner for a friend and felt terrible that dinner was ruined.
The absolute worst ribs we have ever eaten. There was hardly any meat on the ELEPHANT size bones. What meat was there was tough and about one third was gristle. Will not make the mistake again and purchase these.
Didn't fall off the bone, didn't have that good cooked taste. I also tasted the Tony Romas and those were excellent. Ditch the Lloyd's bring back the Tony Romas.... Tony Roma's: Ribs Baby Back Loin w/Tony Roma's Original BBQ Sauce Meat, 24 Oz Way better...
We are big rib fans and we picked up the last couple of packs of another brand of ribs and a grabbed a pack of these because I needed 1 more pack. Holy Cow were these gross- the ribs are tough and a lot of work to pick through, not the usual fall off the bone ribs we're used to. Flavor was lacking too, very tomato-y not sweet smokey. I will NEVER buy these again, big mistake. I was able to add Tony Roma Ribs for recommendations- they're good, Plumrose is our favorite so far though, looks like Walmart carries other products by that company, I wish they would carry their ribs as well. (Ditch Lloyds.)
