Loved it / waiting for the next one

Outside of that awful underwater sight that opened up each episode, I loved Series 1! I thought the actors were terrific, and the story line kept me in suspense. I don't understand why people diss this series. I watch very little American TV, I do find it uninspired; I've watched British TV for years, and this series I would put at the very top of my list as great. I loved Annie and her devotion to getting to the bottom of what was going on (I have a hard time writing reviews, don't want to spoil the story for anyone).

the show was a little slow in the beginning, but it was really good and I got my mom and sister hooked on it. Can't wait for season 2 to come out

The best mysteries come out of the UK and this story is one of the best. There is good characterization, leading the watcher in all directions before the conclusion. If you like mysteries, you cannot go wrong with Loch Ness.

What an incredible show. The cast is strong and committed to the storyline. The characters grow in depth with each episode. If you like dark mysteries you will love this show.

Lots of characters with many problems, with more red herrings than you would ever catch in the north sea: this is a classic soap soap opera under the guise of a suspenseful mystery. It was entertaining but in no way a classic to remember.

The British try desperately to convince the world that an unarmed force and even a petite woman police officer can handle with a telescoping "billy club" armed psychopathic killers. This characterazation ruined the story for me.

I bought Loch Ness Series 1. The conatiner was marked Series 1. When I oppened the container there was one disc and it was disk 2 with episodes 4-6. I really would like disk 1 with episodes 1-3.
