Loctite Fun-Tak is so handy. I use it all the time. Picture frames, Art quilts that don't hang square, use little Fun-tak in a ball on the back to hold it in place. Hang Posters. Pencils trays stay in one place on my desk. Keep an open mind, you'll be using it every where! It's like Museum putty but more affordable. I use it hold things in place when I can't use glue. Try it every where! It's re-useable!!! Don't throw it away, just re-roll it into a ball.
This product is excellent, it does what it claims to do. For hanging posters, for stabilizing the corners of a picture or anything else that is hung on a wall. By placing a small amount of this at the corners it will be held in place so it will be level/not move. This is a teacher's absolute treasure! This will help the teacher create wonderful bulletin boards that are easy to maintain and can be easily changed without damaging the cork board or the graphics/ decorations. For a better price try Dollar Tree. Different brand, same quality/functionality.
Had a poster I tried to hang up several times with dollar store sticky tack and it never worked. Bought this when I finally ran out of the dollar store sticky tack and the poster stays up now :) added bonus of making me nostalgic for when we would sneak pieces of this off the wall in elementary school and play with it lol
This has been my go to for years. I hold my posters, my pictures, basically everything up with this stuff. I even have my doorbell camera being held up with it! I love that it doesn't pull the paint off the wall and it's reusable. I'm including a collage that's being held up by this putty. I have it holding up every picture. It even holds up heavier stuff as well. It's also holding up the wooden letters on my daughter's door that I painted for her !
This mounting putty stuck canvas to block wall and held for 15 days. It was easy to reposition, and after we were done, it was easy to remove from painted block wall. I will be able to reuse putty next time it is needed. No damage to wall, a slight blue haze on back of canvas.
your product has been extremely helpful to me I have just gotten a little kitten who is extremely rambunctious he flies all over my house so your product has been extremely helpful to me I have been using it to keep certain knick knacks and items in place so that he can't knock them off the coffee table or on the counter where he's not supposed to be but this product has kept my things safe he's not able to just push them off of things I am so glad this product exists I have used it in the past for many other things I give it five stars it is a great product
"I used Loctite Fun-Tak Mounting Putty to hold Halloween decorations on the wall, and it worked wonderfully! It securely held up signs, posters, and other decorations without any issues. I was pleasantly surprised by how easy it was to clean up afterward—no mess and no sticky residue left behind. Plus, it's reusable, which makes it a great value for future projects. If you're looking for a reliable way to display decorations, I highly recommend this mounting putty!"
I love this stuff. I use it mainly to hold a yardstick or ruler on the wall, when putting up or mounting items I want centered, so I can have both hands free..
I use this instead of nails for most of my wall hangings that can hold the weight. The only downside is if you put it on paint and leave it for 1 year it will most likely take a chip of paint with it. The other downside is when it gets cold it does harden and gets too cold to stick to the wall so sometimes things fall off. It's best used for posters with plastic coverings. Also, sometimes it does leave little blue residue behind but if you take some of the product and repeatedly touch the spot that is still adhered to the wall it will come off leaving no residue behind.
The Loctite is GREAT! But the rest of my order was for four Family-size bags of Dark Chocolate PEANUT M %26 M's and was substituted with PLAIN Dark Chocolate M %26 M's. Either someone wasn't paying attention or you are pulling a fast one with the substitution, either way, left me with a rotten taste!
