Lodge Cast Iron 4qt Indigo Enameled Dutch Oven

I 've owned this pot's 5.5 quart big brother for years so when I needed a durable 4 quart Dutch oven for bread making it was a no-brainer. It easily satisfies every use I can think of for a Dutch oven and is sufficiently beautiful for open display in ANY kitchen. Still beautiful after years of use. Make a pot roast or some chili in it and you will wonder how you ever got along without it. Yes it's heavy, it is supposed to be. BTW, a comparable Le Creuset pot lists for $389. Get this pot!

Seems like a solid Dutch oven. Could probably fit a small roasting chicken in it. Heats evenly and well, holds heat very well. Good weight to it. Time will tell how durable it is but I use it weekly

I have been using this pot for a few months now and accidentally burned some food on the bottom of the pot. It was really bad and took me a while but was able to clean it with Dawn Powerwash and baking soda. I am amazed that it looks brand new again. I love this pot, its the perfect size for a single person or small family. I highly recommend it for value, convenience and quality.

The Lodge, 4 qt enamel cast iron Dutch oven was perfect. I'm able to roast a chicken along with vegetables, as well as bake bread. Was able to serve four and still have leftovers. Clean up was a breeze just used warm water and a little soap.I highly recommend.

I love Lodge cast iron pieces. I use this piece daily along wirh my Lodge skillets. We have a gas stove and these pieces work wonderfully with the gas stove. Compared to other lines of cookware they are well priced and good quality. They easily go from stovetop to oven with no need to worry about high temperature damage. I use this piece daily on the stove top and weekly in the oven making bread.

Walmart had the best price and availability for this product! I couldn't believe the great deal I got , so I bought one for myself and one for my friend.

Got for a secret Santa gift as it was requested and I'm genuinely impressed by the look, durability and that fact that LODGE offers a lifetime warranty (specifications apply). I'm considering buying myself one for camping trips especially at the price point, highly suggest!

After waiting for a long while, I could not wait any longer and purchased my Lodge 5 Quart Dutch oven. Very happy with fit and finish (Blue Enamel) and put to use ASAP. My favorite casserole recipe turned out better than ever, but I need to cut back a little on water/broth because the dutch oven does not have the loss from steam as current dish I used in the past. The dutch oven lid has features built in that help with re-circulating back to the pan. Now the only thing to watch out for is to keep anyone else in the house from using metal utensils in the oven to avoid scratching enamel. Big thumbs up!

Excellent Dutch Oven from Lodge, appears to be made specifically for Walmart, as this size does not appear on the Lodge website itself. It was shipped double boxed, so even though the outside box had gashes, the inside box was fine, and the enamel was in good shape, no chips. The bottom of the pot is the same blue enamel as the sides. The only part of the experience that was not perfect was the slow shipping. Since the order to reception it took 10 days. The estimated delivery was inaccurate and was estimated as 12 days after it was shipped. Being faster is actually not a plus, as an accurate delivery estimate is important, especially this time of year when there are people looking for a package to snatch.

Arrived damaged. One week later I'm still waiting for FedEx to pick up the return and waiting for a replacement while we have had inclement weather and snow the mail, UPS and other delivery services including Amazon have done deliveries and pick ups in that time. So perhaps my problem is not with the item purchased but with FedEx.
