Lodge Cast Iron 7 Quart Enameled Double Dutch Oven Red

this arrived on time. and in excellent condition. We used the grill lid this evening and it made absolutely perfect medium rare NY Strips! Even cooking all the way through from end to end. Clean up waa easy as well! I highly recommend this dutch oven. Its very heavy of course, as to be expected when using cast iron. Lodge is American made, and made well! We will be purchasing more Lodge cookware!

This dutch oven combo with skillet is one if the most useful items in my kitchen. It is not only nice looking but it works magnificent for anything you need to grill and dutch. I fried my meatballs, quickly empty the grease. threw them in with the sauce than covered. No messy cleanup or additional pans. I don't even bother putting this incredible useful dutch away cause it's used so much.

Like the fact that it is a 2 in one Grill and pot. It is a good size pot. Cooks evenly. I have not yet tried the grill .

I picked this pot because I think the Lodge brand is a quality brand. I've never been disappointed in any Lodge product. The lid is useful as another cooking pan, and I also picked the large 7 qt size because I found certain things don't fit well in a smaller size, a whole Turkey breast for example. With proper care this pot should last me the rest of my life. This is an affordably priced Dutch Oven.

I am so pleased with my Lodge dutch oven. The size is great for frying because of the deep sides. Thermometer clips on easy. I haven't used the lid yet. Beautiful fried catfish!! It's heavy but I wouldn't change it for any other brand.

This is a great pot. It cleans up nicely. Cast iron is the wsy to go. Grill lid great for warming tortillas and toasting crostini. Meets all of my needs. -1 star for being made in China.

This cast iron looks great. I think it will last a long time. I like the coating. I don't have to season it like the original cast iron. However, I only gave 4 stars because it was made in China. It is not made in U.S.A like other Lodge cast iron cookware I bought before.

After 2 uses, the enamel coating has came off of the bottom, making it pretty much useless because everything sticks to it. I'm so disappointed, heard so many good things about Lodge. Not to mention I probably consumed the coating in my food.

Porcelain peeled from bottom of pan and stuck to my burner as well as specks of it on the catch pan. First time using and it was just soup. Very disappointed. Phone number doesn't work, either.
