Lodge Glass Lid

This Lodge 10.25 inch lid is great!!! It fits my Lodge cast iron 5 quart Dutch Oven, my Lodge 3 quart Combo Cooker (3 quart Dutch Oven/deep fryer with skillet lid) as well as my All-Clad Tri-Ply stainless steel wok!!! I was very happy to find it on Wal*Mart dot com for such a great price!!!

At first I wanted to purchase the cast iron lid since the spikes in the lid self-baste the contents especially in the oven. However, when I decided that most of the lids use would be typical stove stop applications I went with the glass lid. While there are no "lips" to cover the skillet's drain spouts, the lid seals very well, is much lighter and, of course, allows for seeing what's going on under the lid without lifting the lid. I have not used in oven but Lodge says the lid is safe up to 400 degrees.

This is a product worthy of the Lodge name. Good form and fit and quality heavy tempered glass with a sturdy knob that makes for easy control without fear of burning your fingers. It makes a good seal around the edge of your skillet so it performs its function well and simply. I use it on my Lodge L9OG3 10 ¼ " round griddle (which it technically is not designed for) and it does a fine job as a splatter screen. It is attractive enough that I can just leave it on top of the stove with the pan so no storage issues for me. All-in-all I'm very pleased with the purchase.

This lid, oven safe to 400 degrees, fits the Lodge 10 1/4 skillet perfectly creating the most useful kitchen cookware. The Lodge skillet properly seasoned is the only truly non-stick pan that never loses its finish and just becomes better with age. With a lid that can be used for both stove top and oven one can fry, braise, roast and even bake. I find the 10 1/4 the perfect size for almost all dishes that a small family. This combination takes care of your cooking needs.

Bought this lid for my 12inch Lodge cast iron skillet. It fits perfectly. Yes, my skillet has the pour spouts but the lid covers them enough to where the steam stays in.

I needed a glass lid to go with my Lodge Cast iron pan and it fit perfectly. They are safe for covering while in the oven and are quite durable.

This replacement lid is sturdy, attractive and functional... a perfect fit for our ancient crockpot.

The glass lids are MUCH lighter and you can SEE what's cooking...which you can't see with a cast iron lid! It appears to be well made and provides a perfect fit!!! I'd recommend this item.

i can see what is in the skillet and the knob to lift off the lid will not burn my hand.

Works well and makes a 12 inch Lodge cast iron skillet more versatile. A stainless knob will make this lid perfect.
