Solidly built keyboard. The aluminium top plate feels much nicer than other cheaper plastic boards at this price. Cherry MX switches feel great and are very consistent. Both typing and light gaming are smooth with zero skipped presses. The white backlight is crisp and easy on the eyes, neither too bright nor cheesy-looking. The compact size frees up desk space while still offering a full 104-key setup. Adjustable tilt legs offer comfortable typing positions. The board doesn't flex or slide around when typing. Cons: Wired only. No dedicated media keys. But if you're looking for a no-nonsense, solid corded keyboard, this one does great.

I like the weight of the keyboard, it's not flimsy and doesn't move around. I like that the keys are lighted, however with the sound of the mechanical keys, I find I type better and really don't look at the board that much. It's new, so I can't say how long it will last. It's seem to be very well made. Fits on my keyboard desk tray very nicely. It measures 17"x5".

This keyboard is very solid and well built. It has removable caps for easier cleaning but the switches are not removable. The keys are illuminated with a white backlight which I prefer over flashing colors but it does provide some customization with the backlight flashing or reacting to key press (also dimmable). It does use a USB cable and is not wireless.

The keys are really comfortable. The only down side is the keys are too light and it's easy to mistakenly touch other keys.

1 rating point deducted for stealing media keys (Web, Mail) for keyboard lighting controls (brightness up, brightness down). Means I don't have media keys for Web (load or show the default web browser) and Mail (load or show the default e-mail client) which I use often. I had to remap the PrintScreen and ScrollLock keys to the web and e-mail actions (a registry edit, but facilitated with SharpKeys). Another media key got repurposed for the lighting pattern: off, snake, flicker, always on). A single key could've been used that would cycle through the brightness levels, and I don't care about lighting effects other than on and off (which could be a switch underneath or on the side of the keyboard). The tactile feel is excellent. I type very fast (110 to 120 wps), and the membrane keyboards could not keep up: insufficient N-key rollover, spongy feel, and low tactile feedback. Wish the mechanical switches for the keys were a bit quieter. Don't need all the clicky-clack. To keep the size reduced, an Fn key is used with the F-keys for the media keys. Would prefer a deeper keyboard (I have the room on my desk between keyboard and monitor) by having a separate row of dedicated media keys above the F-keys. I use Mute a lot, and having to press 2 keys with a stretch on my fingers (Fn F9) slows down squelching sites that want to blare their noise at maximum volume, so I might remap another key, like the right-side menu key (between the Fn and Ctrl) since I've never used that key to bring up the context menu (instead I left-click on the desktop or window). Not sure why they added gaps to the lettering on the keycaps which makes them a little tougher to decipher. Good thing that I'm a touch typist. The keycaps are double-injected moulded: the letters are translucent plastic inside the black opaque keycap which allows the light to directly shine up and through the keycap instead of spread out underneath the keycap for indirect lighting. Instead of the keycaps buried below the top level of the keyboard case, the bottom of the keycaps are elevated to be about a 1/4" above the case. This makes it very easy to clean between and under the keycaps with a small brush or duster can. Other than the missing very important Web and Mail media keys supplanted by keys used for lighting control, I am overall pleased with this keyboard. I am setting up a 2nd and new desktop computer, and got another of this keyboard for that setup. In the past, I had a Rosewill mechanical keyboard, and it had good tactile feel, too, but much quieter. It broke, I got stuck using membrane keyboards, but became peeved at their feel and slow response that I got a mechanical keyboard again. Some are very expensive. As pricing goes for mechanical keyboards, this one is lower priced, but from a manufacturer that I've used, trust, and familiar with.

I'm not very fond of the font used on the keys, but other than that the keyboard is fine.

It's a decent keyboard, especially for the price. If what bothers me isn't an issue for you, I can recommend it. My big problem with it is the lighting. Specifically, the caps and num lock indicators. They are blindingly bright. Turning off the key backlights does not affect them. If you are trying to use this kb in anything other than a very bright room, your eyes may hate you.

It is very loud clacky de clacky as you type

~~ "illuminated" keys began fading out one by one after about 3 weeks, and the "seller warranty" sez no returns after 30 days -- but I'm still working on that.... kenn
