Logitech 981-000769

This is my second set of this headset. They are sturdy and have continued working for 3 or more years. I purchased a 2nd one because I have a second computer and didn't want to have to switch the headset back and forth between them. My friends also use the same headset and love theirs too!

This headset was the one I was looking for. When I went to find it on the Walmart app, to my surprise it was on sale! That made me not even have a second thought about purchasing it. I got it for my boyfriend and he loves it. Now I dont have to hear his game sound from across the house

I mainly bought this for headphones, because this Headset was perfect for me. I have a large head so most over the ear headphones are too small. This one also encompasses my ears snugly. It's really comfortable without it feeling like it's crushing me. I also like the cushioning on the top so it doesn't hurt my scalp so its comfortable to wear. It has good sound quality and microphone. To be honest, I'm mainly happy because it fits perfect and functions well enough where I can't complain.

So I work for a call center from home, these have been the headset I buy. Pros: They're really good, they are comfortable and cheap for a headset Cons: If you take really good care of them it will last 1-2 years before seeing some damages. Most of the time it will be the straps that actually keep the headset together. I'm on my 4th purchase for the headset and it was only my last one that had cable damage. For the price is really good even sound quality wise but again it is a cheap headset so you'll notice that on durability.

I rarely feel compelled to come back and review anything, but the audio quality/clarity really is impressive here. It's a true surround sound experience. The microphone is very high quality as well. Only downfall is the 50mm drivers seem very underpowered when plugged directly into my PS4 controller. No complaints other than that

For the price this is a good buy. The sound was good, though it took some tweaking to the software to get things sounding loud and balanced. The only downside is the material. It is fragile. One drop to the floor from desk height was enough to crack the plastic on the headphone near the headband. Once the crack was present it continued to break apart through normal use. If you avoid any damage it will likely last you a good while.

So this is a difficult one for me because I actually REALLY like this headset, I've bought it multiple times throughout the years, it's got really good sound quality if you download the Logitech software hub thing and use it's features. My issue with it is the sturdiness of the actual headphones themselves. My first one lasted me about 2 years before the plastic casing holding the left speaker cracked and broke, leaving it hanging and dangling. That's fine, I honestly wouldn't expect something for it's price to last much longer than that anyways, and I was able to kind of do a temporary DIY super glue and epoxy fix until I got a new one, which I did. Now here's where my issue lies, I had this second one for less than a month before it started to crack in the EXACT same spot as the last one, and in a little over 2 months the plastic holding the left speaker broke again, there is nothing I did that should have assisted in it breaking, I didn't drop it or handle it roughly, the only thing I can possibly think of is that I have a slightly larger than average sized head, and perhaps stretching while putting it on causes stress on that point. Whatever the reason behind it, a headphone should not be able to break within 2 months just from putting it on, and the fact that it's the exact same place on the exact same piece that broke again, leads me to believe that it is an issue with this model itself. Maybe I'm just unlucky and you'll end up with it lasting you for years with no issues, but because of my experiences with it, I can not recommend it.

The sound quality and mic is alright, just the bare minimum. It worked for a few days, and then it just stopped working altogether. None of the solutions online have worked. If you're able to wait and save up for a gaming headset, I recommend you invest in a better one. The only positive thing I'll say about this headset is how nice it feels to wear it, even on the ears.

I purchased this for my son. It never worked great, but recently his friends cannot hear him on this headset and hes not even using them anymore at this point. He communicates with his keyboard. So I reluctantly purchased the 2 year Protection Plan through Walmart. So I go through my app, because receipt is one thing the email tells me I need after I file the claim. I go to the app, and the purchase history is limited. Doesnt go back very far. I have the bank statement where you can see I completed a purchase on Jan 29 2025, and I have the proof of the 2 year protection plan that is good until Jan 29 2027. I really hope they help me work this out because when I filed the claim with the Allstate Protection Plan all they told me was it was covered and here is my claim %23 and to contact the manufacturer for further assistance. Then says ... Manufacturer: Other Phone: Website: And thats as far as I have gotten. Not a great experience so far!!

very disappointing. got this for my daughters 7 birthday. all she wanted. the left ear muff cushion came off within 30 minutes and we could never get the audio to work. we could hear but her mic wasn't working and yes we know how to do the settings.. it was definitely the head set
