Logitech - C920s Pro 1080 Video Conferencing, Streaming, and Gaming Webcam with Privacy Shutter - Black

I recently purchased a new desktop, replacing my 2015 Dell XPS. My old Dell had seen better days and it was time to upgrade. Since everything was getting upgraded, I purchased a new C920S Pro HD Webcam. (I've been a Logitech fan for ages.) Setup was very easy and the performance/quality is outstanding. Logitech did not fail me!

I had to buy a new C920s Pro HD Webcam because my last one which was over 7 years old stopped working (which is understandable). This new one works just as well as my last one and cost about the same. I definitely recommend the privacy shutter so that you can easily block the camera without using tape. This is a great camera for not a lot of money.

I just got the C920S Pro HD Webcam a couple of weeks ago. I've used it 2 times so far and it's awesome! Everything about it it great. I'm so glad I bought it!!

If you are thinking of getting the C270, get this instead. I went through two C270s just sitting on my monitor last year. The C920 is much better quality

Received the C920S along with new Mac Mini. I had to obtain a USB-C to USB adapter so that it would fit in one of the ports on the Mac as they no longer have straight USB connection. Once the camera/mic was connected, the C920S worked flawlessly, the setup was very easy. Connection to video conferences were seamless. Picture and microphone sound quality was perfect. I highly recommend this webcam.

Camera works very well and has a good image. The build quality is also good. has a screw fitting on the bottom for a mini tripod if you like plus also sits on top of a monitor. Windows 11 had no trouble recognizing the camera. I'm not sure if Windows hello works with it since I've not tried it yet. The USB cable is about 5 feet long. I also like the flip up and down privacy shield. The built-in microphone works pretty good but it's sort of bassy and just kind of weird. But it worked and was usuable. The Logitech software is limited now. You can't snap a picture or record a video or I haven't found it yet but easy to use and lets you adjust basic functionality. If you want to snap a picture or record video, use the built-in video app on Windows 11 or 10. All in all not a bad basic camera. Has good image and a microphone that works decently.

For an economical webcam, it's pretty nice. It has a small foot print with dual microphones and glass lens. The only hard part was finding the software to run it with Logitech enhancements. After I registered the product, all the information on the camera was available. While I would suggest anyone to buy this budget webcam, BE AWARE, the resolution pixels are only 2.1 megapixels and not 15 megapixels as the description says on the WalMart website so I deducted 1 star.

I like this camera. The video quality is quite good and I like the way the background is slightly blurred. The only improvement would be a better way to clamp on to my LG monitor. The camera stays put as long as the monitor doesn't move.

The camera functions as expected, with a great HD picture. Easy to physically set up on the monitor, but it wasn't too clear on how to get it to work on my Mac. Had to Google the information to find out that I needed to download the app for the camera to connect. With the exception of this one bump in the road, it's a great value for the price.
