Logitech for Creators StreamCam - Premium Webcam for Streaming and Video Content Creation, Full HD 1080p 60 fps, Off-white

will outlast all others

It worked fine when I had my motherboard with type c. Then i upgraded and got a new one without a type c port. I bought a usb to type c bridge and it didnt work. Tried many other usb ports. Then i figured it might have to do with drivers needing to be installed. Came onto this website and they had a GHUB program and then it worked and the camera is read onto discord and webcam services.

A great cam, received feedback that it is not choppy like my other Webcam which is also Logitech. Much more customizable than other cams. Only feedback is that I was disheartened to not see a anti spy cover. When I'm not using it, I want the security of knowing it is blocked and no one can see me whether by my carelessness or otherwise.

I am experiencing the same well-described flickering problem that many others have. I've tried adapting the usb-c connector to a compatible usb-a to try another port but that didn't help. (I'm honestly not sure what bandwidth the usb-a ports are on this laptop so it might not have worked anyway - it's supposed to work with the usb-c!) Tried with both AC power and on battery as some have suggested it happens only on AC power... not true. Flicker, flicker. I can't install the Logi software on this laptop to attempt to mitigate it - it's a work laptop and I don't have admin privs. I can't manipulate the usb port parameters via Device Manager either as some have suggested. Disappointed it doesn't work properly by default. Too bad because the quality of the image is quite impressive, imo.

I got this as a gift, which is great because I'd be returning it otherwise. Problem 1: it's USB-C and does not come with an adapter. I built my computer last year, and I don't have a USB-C plug, so I'm unsure how that choice was made. Problem 2: It records in 4:3 with no logical reason and resolution is not an option in GHub, which is the only software recommended with this cam. Problem 3: It's fairly low quality image, I do not support this for streaming at all, especially given its poor software support. It probably works for Zoom, but I'm definitely never replacing my C920 with this. Stressful and unsatisfactory to use.

I wish I would have known that this requires the LogiCapture to make the camera work in VERTICAL MODE. You cannot use the vertical mode on a laptop outside Logitech's proprietary software. I wanted to use this camera with another app that allows for teleprompter scrolling for my videos and NOPE. This is the first time with all the Logitech cameras I have that I have run into this issue. Horizontal, you are golden to record in any other app without the LogiCapture open. Logitech - you need to allow for teleprompter or other apps to serve as a teleprompter in VERTICAL. Very annoying and makes this useless for what I wanted to record for IG and FB, so back to my iPhone. If you are using this just for Zoom or other conferencing needs, the camera is sharp and works well for that use.

I cannot recommend this product if you have a Mac with M1 or M2. In any case, not together with Teams, as it causes both picture and speech to lock up after about 15 minutes. Have tested on two mac computers and get the same error. When testing with a Windows computer, the error does not appear.

The camera can't adjust to low light, the resolution on zoom is always messed up and I have to open the Logitec G Hub app every time a new meeting starts to increase it. The Mac camera is a thousand times better, it's just annoying to use because of the angle. And yes, the Logitech app doesn't work on M1 mac - the cherry on the cake.

Was seriously the greatest cam I had bought for my Mac, until Logitech stopped putting out drivers for it, it does not work on OS Ventura with the drivers. I was thinking about buying the Mevo setup for my Podcast, but deciding to go another way since Logitech doest support there devices beyond 2 years.

The camera seems to randomly flicker like crazy on Macbook Pro M1 Pro chip while using Microsoft Teams and Zoom meetings. I tried to install LogiTune, Capture to see if that helps, but nothing works. Logi Capture seems to not work on M1 Pro chip Macs, which is a surprise since M1 chips have been around for a while now. Is there a driver update for this that would fix this issue?
