I am thoroughly impressed with the Logitech R50 racing wheel. From the moment I unboxed it, it was clear that this is a premium piece of equipment. Build Quality & Aesthetics The first thing you notice is how incredibly well-made this wheel feels. The materials are top-tier, offering a substantial, durable weight that gives you total confidence during intense racing sessions. Beyond the performance, it looks absolutely stunning—the sleek, modern design gives my setup a truly professional, high-end aesthetic that stands out. Performance The tactile feedback and ergonomic feel are outstanding. Whether you are navigating tight corners or pushing for top speed on a straightaway, the wheel feels responsive, precise, and comfortable in your hands for hours of gameplay. If you are looking to elevate your racing setup with something that balances professional looks with a premium, robust feel, the Logitech R50 is an absolute must-have. It has completely transformed my racing experience!
I really enjoy the immersion into the game you get from using a wheel set up. This is the best wheel I have ever used, and I would highly recommend if you have the funds, don't mind a learning curve, configuration tweaking, as well as set up, and storage.
This is a Great wheel especially when you get it on a Bundle sale. Logitech makes good quality products , and it shows in the design and craftmenship of this Base and wheel. 8NM is pretty good for most people who are getting into sim racing , its not super hard core like the other Brands like Simcub or Moza that has 12-25nm etc But its much better than any of the other entry level wheels like the R3 and R5 from Moza, The texture on the wheel feels very nice in hand and the wheel is not too small or big , I feel the size is decent for rally and F1 sim racing even if its not design for F1 you can still use it since its not so big. The Ghub is simple but useful. and The best of all this Base never gotten hot after an hour plus of gaming unlike my R3 from Moza that gotten warn and started generating heat a which is not good for me since my computer and my VR headset already generates heat so that is another plus.. The only negative I can find is the quick release , the coating of the paint sometimes rubs off with dust when putting the wheel on and off , doesnt seem like a big issue as I don't plane to take the wheel off the base that often ...but if I did Iwould just dust it off with cloth or air can.
I’ve been using the Logitech RS50 system for a bit now, and honestly—it’s been a game changer for my racing setup. The first thing you notice is how solid everything feels. The wheel has a really premium build, and the feedback is incredibly smooth and responsive. Logitech’s TRUEFORCE technology really shines here—you can feel subtle details like tire grip, road texture, and even engine vibrations, which makes driving way more immersive. The pedals are another standout. They’ve got a nice, realistic resistance, especially on the brake, which makes it much easier to control your inputs and improve lap times. Once you get everything dialed in, it feels very close to driving a real car. Setup was pretty straightforward, and it works great with games like Gran Turismo 7. After a little bit of tweaking the settings, the control and precision are on another level compared to a controller. If you’re serious about racing games or just want a more realistic experience, the RS50 is absolutely worth it. It’s not just an upgrade—it completely changes how you play. Highly recommend.
Excellent tactile feel at this price point. Vast improvement over the entry level I’ve had in the past. I mainly play GT and trail braking is much more controlled resulting in faster lap times now. Great product!
Very high quality materials used. Extremely solid feel. Night and day difference over G29 which I had used for many years. I only wish this system had come out years ago. I’m guessing they took their time to get it right and they nailed it!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Fantastic wheel, mostly. Sometimes the knobs on the bottom get cause during wide wheel turns but that's about it. In GT7 the response time with the knob is obvious but I think it's more of software integration than hardware.
Going from a g923 at first was loving the rs50 specially on gran turismo 7, but when switching to pc it is very disappointing games don't really recognize it, have to map every button sometimes 2 to 3 times forza horizon 5 doesn't even steer at all or can't shift only my brake and reverse work that is all, even after the updates
Down directional button quit working after a few uses. Disappointing considering how much this product cost. Taking forever to get resolved with support.
After only 45 day the cover on rs50 round wheel has become detached in multiple areas. I was told gripping the wheel too hard when playing games causes this problem. I bought new g923 wheel 6 years ago and its rim cover hasn't detached at all still looks and functions like new. GT7 the scroll knobs are not usable they are fidgety and keep scrolling even though your not touching them firmware update slightly makes them usable but still fidgety. In nascar25 rpm lights dont work. On wheel settings it never saves the angle it always changes to default settings every time i turn it on. Buying experience was horrible
