This mouse does a very good job on most of the things I do requiring a mouse. The side buttons take a bit of thumb dexterity, but that is a minor fault. The application switch and zoom buttons are easily used, but the back and forward buttons would be easier if my thumb were double-jointed. I have programmed the buttons for most of my applications and, after getting used to the layout, I am pretty much up-to-speed with this mouse. The battery does not hold a very long charge, but recharging can be done while you are using the mouse. Everything considered, I like this mouse as much or more than my G9x mouse, which I absolutely loved.
I HAVE HAD THIS ONE SINCE IT CAME OUT, NO ISSUES ,JUST KEEPS ON WORKING!!! I LOVE IT AND HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT TO ANYONE WHO IS TIRED OF JUNK MICE.. IT IS THE BEST!!
Bought the mouse for son's birthday gift. He liked it immediately.
I purchased this mouse based on a CNET review which stated it was the best and could work on glass. I have two glass top desks and it works fine on both of them. The thumb pocket makes it easy to move, but at times feels a little sticky. Thumb controls are good, but it requires some thumb dexterity and there are free programs like "Mouse Gestures" that will help you navigate web pages. It also works well on cloth as I surf on the couch often. If you are willing to pay the freight, it will be the best mouse you have owned.
Great product...it came faster than expected...it is a very comfortable mouse.
Works great. I plugged in adaptor and it just worked. Wish it was rechargeable, but fine with the battery.
Mouse fits hand well. Comfortable to use. Nothing on website to indicate need to charge via cable,
Replaced my old Logitech MX Master with this roughly 8 months ago, functionality is good. Via the Logitech software, you can setup buttons to do whatever you like. Response is very good, matched with Windows 10, these mice have come a long way since the early days of laser styles. The one issue is the battery, on a full charge with average daily (4-6 hours) of use, it doesn't last a week. Now, that might be standard, but compared to the MX Master which would last for a month on a full charge under similar use, I have to drop a star for that. Otherwise a solid and effective option for all sorts of uses.
Pros: Works On Any Surface Cons: Other thoughts: I love that I can use this mouse with my notebook on glass tables and desks. The tiny USB dongle that plugs into the computer is unobtrusive and can be left on when packing the notebook for travel. The mouse comes with a micro-USB cable for plugging into the mouse and recharging the included (but replaceable) single NiMH AA battery. Also included is a zippered, pencil-case-sized, slim pouch that will carry several more cables, but not the mouse itself. I really don't like the wheel's middle button click mechnism; It doesn't feel as good or have that positive action that other Logitech wheels have. I often use the wheel button function, and I often have to press it twice; The button will always click, but it's not the correct click that activates the middle button functionality. It's weird, but I don't think I got a dud; Others that I've tried do it, too. You have to carefully depress only downward on the button, which makes it not as forgiving in that action as other Logitech mice. The top middle button that mechanically toggles between free-wheeling and click-scroll feels cheap, too. I would much rather have had the automatic free-wheel/click-scroll function, with a reprogrammable top middle button.
Pros: Fast Response, Accurate Tracking, Comfortable Design, Glides Smoothly Cons: Other thoughts: The button behind the scroll wheel used to be programmable so you could have it do whatever you want. I have always used it to close open windows and it's a great timesaver. Now, on this mouse, they changed it so that it changes from hyper-fast scrolling to click. Who wants click? They took one of the best features of their previous mice and ruined it. So very very stupid.
