Computer mice are not what they used to be. The first Logitech mouse I ever bought, lasted for years, and I only replaced it because the rubber pads on the sides were coming loose and I just wanted a change. It still worked. Generally speaking I only replace my computer mice when I get tired of the design or color, or I want a new mouse to go with a new laptop. Although my latest laptop has a much user-friendly mousepad than my laptops, I just find a separate mouse easier to use. I occasionally play video games that use a mouse to point and click and it's just easier to have a separate mouse, especially since I switched from a touchscreen to a standard screen. I'm cheap so I bought a cheap mouse (don't remember the brand) and managed to kill it under a month. Bought a Logitech, a very pretty, stream-lined mini mouse that was also cheap and looked flimsier than any I had before. It lasted about 2 months, and would have probably been fine to just use as a basic mouse and not subject it to repeated rapid clicks. I decided to upgrade to an actual gaming mouse, but while I was waiting for it to arrive, I ordered the Logitech M220 wireless mouse I'm reviewing now, on a pickup order, because I really NEEDED a mouse to do some computer related tasks that required some precision I was unable to achieve with the built-in mouse pad. So far, it's done very well. I've played a few short games on it, but basically just use it for non-gaming functions. Is it "soundless". I guess you can hear a mild click. This is fine with me, because if it had no click at all, I would be the type of person to keep clicking and end up with 12 open windows. I love the pretty lilac color. That was a plus. The mouse is lightweight and fits neatly in my hand, and it moves around very easily on the desk or even on the bed (even without using a mat). It's a good thing I bought it because Amazon sent me an old dirty used mouse instead of the one I ordered and then was going to not replace it or give me a refund. Since I don't want to turn this review into how Amazon makes it really difficult to contact actual humans and correct mistakes THEY made, just say that they finally said I could send back the wrong mouse for a refund. To my Amazon account, so I can't use the money and buy the mouse elsewhere. Only now I can't afford the mouse I had intended to buy, and have to wait until my next check or for the price to go back down. Meanwhile, I'm actually thinking of just getting one more Logitech M220 as a back-up in a different color except Walmart seems to have the different colors under different listings. Anyway, so far so good.
Didn't expect it to be this small which definitely makes it less uncomfortable to use, but it was my fault for not doing more research on it. Either way this is a great mouse in general, just too small for me personally. Very responsive and easy to use and already has a battery inside, so you're good to go out of the box. Now I get why they said it's very compact lol
I love this little mouse! I had similar version and it finally crapped out after like 7 years, so I needed a new one. This wireless mouse was in stock at my local store and only $11 so I went for it. It hooked up wirelessly via the USB dongle very quickly. I'm impressed by the smooth movement and the super quiet clicks. It's SO much quieter than my old mouse! My only gripe is that it's tricky to see which position is "on" for the on/off switch. On the previous version that I had, one side was red and one was green so I could tell with just a quick glance whether or not I remembered to turn off the mouse when I was done with it. This one takes a bit more of a closer look.
I use this mouse for my laptop %26 it easy to set up just plug it in %26 switch it on. I love how quiet it can be so i can work without disturbing anyone. I like the storge inside the mouse for usb to make travel easy. The battery also lasts for months til you have to change it.
Is it a mouse? Yes. Is it fancy? No Is it cute? Yes. Does it do what it needs to do? Absolutely. Does it survive being mauled by a puppy AND still work? Yes. Have I ever replaced one due to it not working? No. Does it connect with ease? Yes Is it really that cute? Yes (everything purple is cute) Would I recommend? Yes Do I need anything more for basic laptop use? No Do I love this mouse? Yes. Do I use it for hours on end every single day? Yes. Have I replaced the battery? Yes. (once a year maybe?) Is it affordable? Yes. Do you really need anything more? No. Should you buy this mouse? Yes.
Shhhhh! You don't have to tell this mouse to be quiet, though. It's amazing how absolutely quiet this thing is. Once you try it and ever use a regular mouse again, you will appreciate how nonintrusive this quiet gem is. A bit of a smaller form factor than most mice but I got used to it and I think it helped reduce hand fatigue. Pair this with a silent keyboard (I use the Wagpak backlit 104-keys, also from Walmart) and you will be the toast of your workforce for not bothering others.
I needed a mouse desperately, I work so much faster with one %26 could get within hours, Amazon had to wait till the next day. I've had bad experiences with Logitech in the past, bc they never last long (few months). My dollar store ones were better. But, this mouse didn't even work new outta the box %26 didn't appear to have been returned. Guess company has low standards for quality. I love Memzuoix mouses, so just bought 2 (need a sprare so never happens again). I wasted $ on their faster delivery, for nothing. I'll stick with Memzuoix from now on. And they are more comfortable to use also.
[t does not work at all I need a cheap mouse for a couple of days. Does not work at all and not worth the aggravation of returning it. Should have known at the price
So I didn't get this but Walmart won't credit my account BECAUSE I have NOT returned it to my closest Walmart and they won't answer HOW I am supposed to return something I never received.
The mouse did not work when I took out of the box. I liked the mouse, because of its color, so I was disappointed it didn't work. I have used Logitech for years, so I'm returning it for a different Logitech mouse.
