I gave it as a birthday gift to my friend's 16-year-old son. He was very excited when he received it and said it was one of the gifts he most wanted. On that day, he used this drone with his friends and expressed that it was easy to operate, very interesting, and could be used for filming. This is a great choice as a gift.
Great drone, easy to get started. It was a lot of fun to play with, though learning the controls took a bit of time. I would not suggest this for small children and I'd recommend not going too high up right away because it can lose signal with a bit too much distance. I lost it at one point by doing that. It took a fall of 12 feet or so when I hit a wall with it and it managed to survive that as well. For under $50, it's not bad at all!
was bvery pleased with the drone . Purchased for my son's birthday, he's really pleaded with it . No complaints . Kinda hard to activate and get going , but not the products fault . Just our ages , lol . Very pleased ... giving you 5 ***** ( stars )
It was a birthday gift for my 11 yr old grandson. He was super excited to get it! I was just a little disappointed that the "one button take off" didn't seem to be enough to make a beginner not crash so keep that in mind adults (there's still a learning curve involved) %26 be prepared with some "practice makes perfect" kind of encouragement so they don't just quit.
the only thing I don't like is the app that you download, lot of things are still in Chinese and you can't change it to English. if you're downloading the app in America it should be in English. and you need a little bit bigger print in their books it's like micro. and it said it had a SD slot back in the battery compartment but it does not so you're only relying on your photos and video to go to your phone. besides that it's a good beginners drone. and for the price that I got it at I'm not going to really complain about it not having a SD slot but if I was paying full price yes I would be complaining and also about the app more. have fun with it.
The drone seems to work as advertised, although we haven't tried to use the camera yet. The biggest problem is that the instructions need to be improved. Define terms used, better diagrams., simpler and more thorough explanations would help a lot. I suspect a person who has used a drone a little bit would not have a problem with it. But we haven't. Trial flights will continue!
The instructions are translated from Chinese, so not very informative. Difficult to control and not user friendly. App isn't user friendly. My son and I were using it in an open area and once it got tree height the controls no longer worked and the drone flew away. There was no ground level wind at the time. Might be fun at 10 feet high or less.
Will not connect to the phone on the app which will not let the features that were advertised for this drone work. Uninstalled and reinstalled app several times to no avail. Read several reviews in the App Store and at Walmart website with the same troubles. Found no fix. Returning item to Walmart for refund.
The video is not 4k and is very choppy with no sound. It's also hard to control. Even when you set it to hover it drifts to one side and eventually crashes into something. And trying to fly it away from something just makes it wanna go straight for whatever you're trying to avoid.
it is a pity, because this drone flight well, good response to the controls but was impossible to make the software downloaded works. Android app for this drone never opened, always frozen. I used three different devices. Sorry I tried beyond the reviews that talked about this problem before.
