I purchased this item in part to see the reaction of my teenage son. What I originally thought would be a “daddy” toy to my surprise was taken over by my 15 year old son. Once I started assembling the track he took over and is still playing with “Dads” toy. Easy assembly. Sounds great. Larger than I expected even the smoke feature works very well. Gotta go my son wants to try a different track design.
I always wanted to have a,train to go around my Christmas Tree,and I'm sure that my grandchildren,will also enjoy the train sets,and I'm putting my other train up as a bonus
Easy to assemble. Love all the different track configurations. The lights, sounds and steam add the perfect touch. Durable and easy enough for a 4 year old to operate. Lots of accessories adds to the imagination.

I liked the train set, the rechargeable battery, and the remote control. It also has small plastic connectors to keep the track together. Wasn't sure what to expect, but is a fun little train set I have set up around my Christmas tree. Goes forward , reverse, and can set the speeds.
Our grandson, love this train, and the fact that the smoke came out of the top. The train doesn't stay on the tracks and it is hard for Young children to work with.
The train is built well and works good, it just takes a little bump and it comes off track, I guess it's ok if you go slow and don't touch it, definitely not good for a autistic kid
I can't get the track to stay together. 2 times around and somewhere a piece of track is coming undone. It's set up on the level tile floor. Pieces are snapped together. This thing is fragile
Bought for a Christmas gift and although we bought it earlier the part that holds the batteries is missing. Won't give us the missing part, replace or refund the item.
