gave it to my niece for Christmas. I liked it very much, the child was delighted
My granddaughter love it plays with it everyday
This was sent to me to review for my daughter who is 6 years old. We had a blast! I think it took us longer to get it out of the package then to get it put together. It came with 2 exclusive dolls and all the stuff to dress them plus glitter and fuzz. You just take the glue decorate them how you want and spin them in the glitter and boom. My daughter even got her other LOL dolls to decorate also. She loved it. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
It was very fun my daugther loved it tho it is very very messy it is still tons of fun! The kids played with it for a long time and it was easy to use the instructions were a huge help but its kinda simple to were u dont need directions [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
Recieved this for free to test and out of 4 kids they all lived it. There was so many different colors of the fuzz and gliiter. As of the clean up part well that was a different story. But if only one or two of them would ha e only played with it im sure it wouldnt have been so bad. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
As we all knew, it's messy. It is fun and the glue don't dry before u get the dome back together. We are not fans of the “fuzz”. It's thin like a powder. The glitter is the best. We tried to do the bottom half of her hair in blue fuzz, it didn't work so well. Half way thru T was like“ this is taking sooooo long” (Fist pump) I was hoping this would get the custom bug out of his system n it did lol. I made him clean it all up at the very end after showing him how the first round. All in all if ur into crafts with your kids this is a great product! We love the Exclusive Doll but will not be customizing her. She will stay all white. I recommend buying this product. It's easy to use.
This was received by me free in exchange for my review. First thing...it is glitter and powder dust - cover the table or what ever area you are working on. The L.O.L. Surprise! DIY Glitter Factory Playset with Exclusive Doll has to potential to be a fun toy. but you can't really play with the dolls because the glitter and fuzz dust fall off making a mess on clothes, furniture, fingers etc. This set comes with 2 dolls,(one is an exclusive that you may choose NOT to decorate) a snap together locking ball, 4 colors of very fine glitter and 4 of the powdered fuzz dust along with the bottles of glue. There are 2 tops for the dolls along with 2 skirts, a headband and boots. They all just snap on over the dolls. Along with these items, glue, a small fiber brush to paint the glue on and 2 padded sticks which you can use to apply the glue but I strongly advise against. A platform to set the spinning, locking ball also has 3 small holes where you can place the glue brush and other sticks up to dry. The instructions are in the bottom and are easy to read. Inside the carton is a small box which holds the bags for all the dolls and items mentioned above. Opening each bag is a surprise! There is nothing to measure, you just guess how much of either item you might need. You get a large clear plastic ball that locks on each side. This spinner locks securely and has arms that you place into the slots on the display stand. Spin it as fast or slow as you choose. When it looks like it's all covered, remove the locked ball from the display stand and move the plastic hearts to the left to release the locks. Open very slowly as this glitter is so fine, you WILL end up with it all over. Remove the doll that was inside the ball and set aside to dry for 2 hours! So....the object is to place one item of play clothing on the indicated notch of the center holder or put it on the doll. Then place the doll it to the spinner, paint it with glue, pour your choice of glitter or fuzz into the bottom of the ball, yes just loosely, put the top on the ball, lock it, set it and spin it. There is nothing to measure, you just guess how much of either item you might need.- Not acceptable. Now while the doll is drying from the glitter or fuzz shower, you can attach the boots or skirt to the center spin attachment. Paint them with glue (applying enough glue is key to coverage) add either glitter or use the fuzz powder ( very fine velvety smooth feel) into the bowl of the ball. Lock up the ball, place in the holder and spin again. Afterward, you remove the ball and unlock it to see your creation. Note: any left over glitter or fuzz, can be put back into their original containers for future use. But, there is quite a bit of the product that sticks to the inside of the ball, creating layers of colors from glitter or fuzz. You can wipe that out or put under some warm water to rinse clean but then you lose that amount for future use. Also, if you'd like the change the color's of any item that has already been decorated, just place it in water and gently rub to remove it which is quite easy to do. Then you can start over using different color combinations for each item included to dress the doll. While this has has to potential to be a fun toy. you can't really play with the dolls because the glitter and fuzz dust have to dry for 2 hours each and then it fall's off making a mess on clothes, furniture, fingers etc. You quickly lose interest in this because of the dry time. The glue is washable if it get's on your child's clothes or hands and is non toxic. Conclusion? Too many steps, too messy, glue is way to thick to apply and you lose interest real quick having to wait for it to dry. This is a 2 thumbs down craft project. I have a 6yo and have never been disappointed with LOL products—they're normally amazing. Bought this because my daughter already loves to customize the dolls already with art supplies. Two issues with this set are 1)ball doesn't create the expected outcome. 2)Glue is super runny great that it's washable, but lacks staying power. My kid was so excited to open this but quickly realized what a mess it was and gave up to play with something else. And good lord it is messy, so if you try this be warned. We did discover the glitter sticks to wet clay very well so she molded some hair & jewelry to glitter up.
Dont waste your money! Basicly payed 40$ for the doll and accessories. The glitter and fuzz jus dont stay on at all. Not worth the money!
Worst toy I've ever bought. Looks fun. Nothing fun about it.
