Great little camera, works pretty well. It 'does' need to be plugged in, and seems to be advertised as wireless as the pictures in the ad show no cord. That was a bummer to find out. It also doesn't stay on at all times, as the internet connection I guess can be a bit finicky..? In my house the monitor is only 20 feet away from my router, but the connection to a device goes in and out often.

This is the worst camera I have ever bought in my life. The connection to the wiffi is terrible, how can you trust a baby camera that is connected and then disconnected from the network! I have a good connection in my house, this is not the reason for a malfunction, it is too late to return it because I bought it long before my baby was born, it is very beautiful but if you are looking for a good camera for your baby's room, do not buy this! very disappointed!
