In FL. you need a compact, easy to carry umbrella. This is the one. Small enough to fit in a purse, but opens to a standard size. I recommend.

The umbrella is a breeze to open with a single push button. The open shape is nice, rounded and protects adequately in rain showers. Recommended.

I really wanted a smaller umbrella but this will fit nicely in my car for use when needed.

I ordered the plain black mini umbrella by London Fog. I haven't used it in the rain or wind yet. Its a basic umbrella that I have a hard time getting to lock into the open position. The lever on the handle doesn't want to “catch”. I can see this being a real problem trying to get out of a car in a downpour.

I ordered and paid for two of the same umbrellas. When my package came I only received one. Online it showed that my entire order was received and delivered, but that was untrue. I needed them for a trip I was going on a few days after the delivery date. I had to contact Walmart to have one refunded to me and I declined a having another one shipped because it wouldn't be delivered until after my vacation. Very frustrating. I don't know if it was done on purpose or what, but I'd be leery ordering this item again.
