Was expecting more than this for price
This is a good lopper. But it is not what I expected from either the Corona Brand or the "Classic Forged" line. This tool is little better than the cheap in-stock loppers sold at Walmart for $20, and it is over twice the cost. Basically for that you get a wood handle, which is nice, since it isn't cold on your hand in the cold pruning season, and it looks nice. I was expecting the cutting head to much heavier duty. It is very sharp, and it is well made, and the bumper works well, but for nearly $50 I was expecting to be impressed by a quality tool. It doesn't cut any branch much thicker than 1" diameter, especially if they are dry. The claims of it's heavy duty nature are greatly overblown. But it is a nice size for pruning as it is light and maneuverable yet has much more leverage than a hand pruner.
