i liked how easily it was to apply on my hair after i mixed it with the recommended developer. has that distinct hicolor highlights scent that i like -not too masculine but not too feminine. does a great job at depositing into the hair while it lifts. this is the ONLY brand i use for my permanent red hair colors because it does such a good job on my hair every time without fail. not once have they changed the formula and i appreciate that.

This is definitely the best permanent dye for dark African American hair that leaves a bright and bold finish after washing your hair!

it was a good amount of the price but the red hot color turned my red hair a dark brown which has never happened to me before.. so if you want a brownish red I recommend this color but not if you want red hot bright red color!
