I have been using L’Oréal for years and have always been satisfied. The colour is brilliant and lasts for a long time - even looking good as the colour fades and have received lots of compliments.

Follow directions exactly!! Won't work on darker hair. Read the box before buying and if it says for blonde or bleached hair - then don't be surprised if it doesn't work on dark hair. There are shades for darker hair colors. This pink is beautiful in my bleached hair - fades beautifully in pastel shades. Isn't too drying. I LOVE this dye!

I use l'oreal colorista bleach deodorant all over complete for the first time on dyed hair I did one strip put for half an hour until I achieved inside banana color then washed and undertoned I used purple then blue conditioner from loreal 7ua the final result was sandy cool blond that I was aiming at in the first place thanks loreal again.

2nd time buying this beauty of product. The color is amazing and lasts well beyond 10 washes if you have lifted and bleached your hair well enough. It will stain clothing and skin, so be careful applying but it is worth the extra cost compared to the permanent color. I also like that's it vegan formulated.

I absolutely LOVE this color #Metallica Orchid 04. I went from being invisible to fabulous! I really, really wish you would make this color in permanent. It fades too fast. I seriously, cannot go anywhere without getting at least two compliments. I have had this coat for over 10 years and did my hair last Sept when it wasnt cold. If I had tried to match it, it would never had happened. People are amazed my hair matches my coat.

I ordered brunette coverage and received blond to light brown It won't work on my girl's dark brown hair 😔

This was junk. First off we bought the color Teal for dark hair. Out of the tube it looked more like a deep blue almost purple nothing like teal. It did get on the counter and that actually did stain a teal color, that still will not come off! On my daughters dark hair it did pretty much nothing. I did not expect it to bleach her hair obviously but since it said it was made for dark hair and their image for the advertised teal color shows dark hair I hopped it would have some color pay off. It did not! We did the entire bottom of her hair and also put streaks allover. Either they did not show up or there is a extremely faint ugly swampy green tone that just barely shows up. You have to look very hard to see it. We used a lot too and still nothing. I would not recommend to anyone unless you have very light hair even then I am not sure it is worth it.

My hair now stains any skin it touches, even though my hair is bone dry. I've already scrubbed my head raw to get out any bits of dye that might've caused it, and I've seen no improvement with the staining. It's really weird too, since I've used this color before, and it didn't stain like this last time! Did the recipe change or something?

I got the metallic pink color to dye part of my hair pink with my swim team back. This was February 21st, 2026. It's not June 12th, 2026 and there's still a lot left in my hair. It stained my hair and it's super frustrating because it doesn't even look good anymore. WOULDN'T RECOMMEND!
