my mom loves this shade
Perfect transaction. Thank you so much!
Very happy with this lipstick stays on for hours also nice color for me. Thank you.
My mother used L'Oreal lipstick when I was a child in the Eighties and early Nineties and I remember that smell--like roses and candy apples. I'm so thrilled that the Colour Riche range still looks and smells the same when other brands seem to have gotten more bland over time so as not to risk offending anyone with glamour. Scarlet Gold was my mom's shade--long obsolete, but I still remember it and have never seen another lipstick like it. It was a sheer, plummy, semi-matte red with a dusting of gold to warm it up and give dimension and depth, and I'm so happy to see L'Oreal has brought out this pixie dust again for their new range of pinks. The sheer matte formula alone is new and exciting, and (along with that magic gold glow to keep things life-like) is the ideal vehicle for a bold pink that might otherwise be too much. Blake's Pink looks outrageous in the tube, but very cool and kind of 60's Mod on my lips, or so I flatter myself to think. I put it on and imagine that I'm an Italian housewife dressed up to go to the market where I have a crush on the butcher or something. Julianne's Pink is similarly complex and Mod (Moore's shade for the Nude range is even more exciting and I plan on stockpiling them. It reminds me of another defunct L'Oreal shade called Desert Flight). Well, there you have it-- from an amateur lipstick historian. Stay the same, Colour Riche.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall, it's a great product and I love the Colour Riche Matte Lipstick in shade He Thinks He's Matte-cho. The price is very reasonable. I am a very big fan of nude lipsticks, but this one had a bit of a darker tone to it and I loved it. It glides on smoothly and creamy. The color is very pigmented, and the point of the lipstick allows you to put it on precisely without the use of a liner. On the plus side, it does not feel like it dries out, it feels more moisturizing and comfortable to wear, as well as hydrating. The lipstick, it self, smells really good with a nice, light scent, and it is long wearing and easy to wipe off at the end of the day.
I bought two different colors Matte-ly in Love and Devil's Matte Vocate . I barely notice the way they feel on the lips. I LOVE Matte-ly in love, it is the first red to ever give me those butterflies that I read about when it comes to the right red lipstick. My eyes actually appear brighter with it on. Most red lipsticks I have tried look pink once applied and I felt like they washed me out. Devil's Matte Vocate does appear pink (or even purple) on me and I am not a fan of the color. Despite this I don't feel like it washes me out. I will likely never use this one (Booo!) because it doesn't look remotely red on me. However I love Matte-ly in love! I have light skin with with warm undertones. Most advice recommends cool tones for light skin and claim warm tones make teeth look yellow but this color really brightens my face. I have had a difficult time determining my undertone because I have cool traits such as light skin, blue eyes and dark hair but my skin has some yellow undertones and this is the perfect red for that.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Oh my goodness YALL. This lipstick is amazing! The color, the pigment, how long it lasts, I could go on! I can wear it all day and reapply once (if even) if I eat something hefty! The color of the lipstick colored my naturally red pigmented lips very well which to me means nice quality!
Its the perfect pink for me, I must admit , the pigment was slightly lighter than the color of the shown lip color. Not to say I don't love the color on me. Its absolutely perfect, I'm a neutral undertone and works with my skin tone. Its hard to find the right pink. This is great.
tip of lipstick was slightly squished/flattened. not worth trying to return. color/texture was good, but disappointed in quality upon delivery
Tiny little flex come off, and that can really make a mess. It did for me, so be careful buying this particular shade even though I have never had trouble before with this brand, but was really disappointed this time. Their other shades have always been great .
