I never used hair spray before but I purchased this L’oreal Elnett because living in Florida my hair would frizz very quickly due to the humidity. I needed something to control the frizz while keeping it manageable. I had purchased the Elnett spray that was scented. Although I liked the results, the fragrance was too overwhelming. This hair spray is perfect. It keeps frizz at bay and holds your style without the overwhelming scent. The best part is it doesn’t leave your hair stiff. You can brush it out with no issues whatsoever. I had tried another brand that was unscented and the results were horrible. My hair was so stiff I thought it was going to break off!! The price is also reasonable. This will be my go to spray on those humid days.

Unlike other extra hold or stronghold hairsprays that turn your hair into a helmet, you could brush easily through without getting that flaking tugging or screwing up your style. No stinky smell being truly unscented, you didn't get that harsh overwhelming chemical, stinky smell lingering all day. A little goes a long way I was impressed that I had to use just a quick mist and my hair stayed in place all day. It kept my hold intact on a very busy day from morning till I got home at night, I was actually surprised because usually my hair was falling out or straight again by midday. If you want a good hold that feels light, remains manageable and doesn't have that chemical odor, this is the one to grab. Very pleased.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a fantastic product! Its so light on my hair. You can brush right through your hair so easily. I had zero flaking. It holds my hair all day long and my hair is usually so out of control by the end of the day, but not with this!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Hands down one of my go to favorite hairsprays! I have tried many hairsprays and they either feel too stiff on my hair or too overly fragranced. I am happy that there was an unscented hairspray such as this! The only smell is when you are spraying it onto your hair but after combing it through there is no smell at all! What's shocking is this only contains 6 ingredients! It is an extra strong hold hairspray that holds my curls all day long even on those windy days! It doesn't leave your hair stiff at all and can tame my frizzy hair days. Definitely recommended trying as you won't be disappointed!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When this hairspray says “extra strong hold” … it means it! My hair barely budged and I usually lose curl pretty fast with some hairsprays. There was a little of that “crunchy” hair, but nothing too crazy or unable to manage. I did reapply to some of my flyaways that were all over the place (especially on a super windy day). I didn't notice any flaking from it after using it all day.

There is a scent upon spraying but I don't notice it when I am wearing it throughout the day and the scent upon spraying is very mild. I don't think this has an incredible amount of hold but it does the job, especially for the price. I don't notice more shine but I wouldn't use this product for that purpose. This is a product I would purchase again, especially when I want my perfume to be highlighted more than a hair product.

This hairspray has good hold, it goes on evenly, and it brushes out at the end of the day. But it is NOT unscented. I've used unscented products for years, and I realize that many of them contain masking fragrances and other ingredients that are intended to cover up the scent of the product. But the scent of this hairspray is very obvious, and it lingers all day.

My wife loves the product. However, when we received the order today one can had a puncture in the bottom side of the can and that can was empty. The other 3 cans are okay but those cans and the box were messy from the leak.

Useless product.
