L'Oreal Paris Eye Set: Voluminous Base Mascara Primer, Blackest Black Mascara, and Eyeliner

10/10 survived three days straight (friday to monday) and about four mental breakdowns after finding out my ex cheated on me, my eyeliner was still a gorgeous perfect wing, will buy everytime

I have been using the Volumizing in black for about 20 years & advised many of my friends to this because they loved my lashes showing so long as though they were fake and NOW I can't believe they changed the formula. The brush is the same but the mascara is really clumpy when it comes out of the tube even separating the bristles & on my eyes especially on my lower lashes. After buying 3 different tubes from 3 different stores to see if it was the mascara or the date on the tube or something else I have to say they all were the same. I will now be buying another brand.

I have used only this mascara for decades, and my daughters as well. What did you do to this formula? It is absolutely terrible now. It clumps and is impossible to remove now. If I wanted a waterproof mascara, I would buy the waterproof version. With so much push-back, you would be making a good business decision to go back to the former formula. It's almost like the new Coke debacle. I won't be wasting my money on this new, terrible version of my once beloved mascara. I am sad and disappointed, and apparently are so many other once loyal users.

I do not like the new formula. It is clumpy & doesn't wash off as well. I will no longer be buying this product after being a faithful 36 year customer.

The only good thing I can say about Infallible 36 hours gel mechanical liner is the ease with which I can line the waterline of my upper eyelid. Other than that, I find the ad misleading: I used Brown Denim on my upper eyelid, and within two hours, the entire line smeared over to my lower eyelid and further down. So the product is not smudge resistant.

I loved this mascara before the formula change (when it was 5X the volume, not 15X the volume). Now it is goopy, has a terrible odor, and is simply not the same mascara at all! Why did you change a product that people loved before! Please change it back. It seems the consensus is that the formula change is a failure. Will not buy this new product again.

agree with the previous customer on this product. I too have used this for years and now find it unsatisfactory....application is time consuming....doesn't apply evenly and clumpy... how do i get my money back?

I have used this mascara for years. The violet color. I recently bought a new tube and the color has completely changed. It used to be more purple and now it is burgundy with very reddish undertones. Also it now flakes off throughout the day and leaks mascara flakes in my under eye area. I even went out and bought another tube just thinking it was a fluke. I am so sad the formula has changed because now I won’t buy this mascara anymore.

I have been using this same mascara for 26+ years. I used a daily combination of the original (grey tube), the carbon black and the white primer. I SWORE by these and refused to use or even try anything else. I referred so many to try these—and said that they’d never go back to another mascara again. This formula change was an EPIC fail. This mascara is not even close to what it used to be. In fact it doesn’t even deliver OK results. It clumps up horribly, doesn’t give any volume, and drys out so fast. So I’ve now jumped on the list of loyal users who are also searching to find another mascara. L’Oréal you have broken the millions of hearts of those who swore by this mascara. To sum this up—PLEASE go BACK to the old formula.

This used to be the only mascara I would use. It was absolutely amazing. I just bought a bottle because my last one was completely out and I was very sadly disappointed. It is no longer the same formula and is an absolute horror to get off. It’s so flakey and gets in my eyes. I’m absolutely devastated and am too scared to try any other mascaras because I already had my favorite one😭
