L'Oreal Paris Infallible Pro Last 2 Step Lipstick, Incessant Russet

I am in love with this product! A a makeup artist, I've never been fond of long wear lipsticks, and never used them personally....but this is my everyday lipstick now! It's not that I have a wear problem, I actually never need to reapply regular lipstick, but I love the assurance it gives me just in case I'm at dinner, working etc and don't want to check my lips. I'm also a Cosmetic Tattoo Artist, and when a client is not a good candidate for permanent lips, I always recommend this product! I own 3 and I want every shade!

First, I love this lipstick is an understatement. I have tried so many other lipstick/lip-stains trying to find something that will last more than an hour or two that don't dry out my lips. Nothing has worked like it said it would. I'm a Mary Kay consultant and have used lots of their lip products. But I love this one by L'Oreal more. I first tried it a couple days before my daughters wedding. I was thrilled to see that I still had color at noon, 4 hours after I put it on. So I kept wearing it. Ate lunch, drank liquids, and at 3:00...I still had color. A little faded, but it still looked like I had lipstick on. I was totally shocked. I did apply the lip gloss side a couple of times during the day. And now II have used it everyday since. It has been 2 months. I am now buying more colors to try. My favorite color is #107. It is amazing!!! I used to put chap stick on all day long. With this lipstick, I have not needed chap-stick. So, this year for Christmas, I decided to give my friends some of my favorite things. Yep, I bought like 15 L'Oreal Infallible Pro Last Lip color lipsticks in various shades and colors to give to friends and family for Christmas. This lipstick is truly one of my favorite things now. I love it and it does live up to it claim. I have told may friends and colleagues about it and they have gone to purchase it too. Those I have shared it with already love it just like I do. My busy day is so much nicer knowing i have a little color. I teach Elementary School and have little time during the day to fuss with lipstick. That's why I love this. Since I've had success with this product, I'm going to try others by L'Oreal to see if they will work for me too. I've acquired 4 of these over the past couple years and now have 4 more on their way from Ulta! I love that there are so many shades options. As others have said, please sell the balm separately as well! I would use it even when not wearing these, it's so silky and tastes great! Sometimes when I don't want to carry the whole tube, I use the CoverGirl 2 step balm with this instead since they do sell it separately..

I have been using this lipstick with multiple shades for almost 2 years now. I am absolutely in love, and this lipstick really will last all day (and sometimes i am too lazy to wash my face at night, and it will be on still in the morning). I see people have complained about it not lasting, which makes me think they weren't applying it correctly. When I have lent the lipstick to my friends, I noticed they used the lip balm first because naturally we all do that, and the stain won't hold on to a wet surface. With regular lipstick lip balm would go first, but not for a stain. You have to make sure your lips are COMPLETELY DRY before using the stain. And after you use the stain it WILL be sticky, don't rub your lips together, give it a minute to dry, and use you finger to touch and see if its dry, and when it's dry put the balm on. And continuously use the balm as needed all day. My only complaint is the purple color I got for some reason has the weird texture, applies terribly, and does not last. I might have just gotten a lipstick gone bad, and it may have nothing to do with the color. I have about 10 different shades and the dark purple is the only one that gave me trouble. Other than that, this lipstick is my holy grail.

I think the infallible pro last lip color is marvellous It is non drying and stayed on my lips for 12 hours The color Lilac Infinite is beautiful especially if you have blue eyes it brings out the blue Finally a lipstick that i do not have to reapply! Barbara

I use the shade "Always Almond" almost daily, since it's very close to my natural lip color and just gives me a little shade/ shape boost. It's not too drying and stays put, although sometimes I end up looking like I'm only wearing lipliner, so I do have to reapply. Maybe not quite a 24 hour lipcolor, but very good for 7 or 8.

First of all, let me just say that I have been searching for a lipstick that will literally last all day and through all that entails. And I've found it! Not only does it actually last all day, but it lasts through eating, drinking (even coffee out of a mug o Yeti), and most trying: smoking. I smoke a little less than a pack a day and this lipstick never budged! And no feathering for me, and I'm 47 with my share of fine wrinkles. The only reason I did not give a full 5-star review is that the balm on the other end does not last - in any respect. Not only does it not last on your lips so that you have to reapply it several times a day, but there is only enough for about 2-3 business-weeks worth. I have several colors and ALL of them are out of balm! Very annoying since the lipstick doesn't react well to any other type of balm or gloss! I wish Loreal Paris would either increase the amount of balm or, at the very least, offer it for purchase separately.

I really love this lipstick. My only complaint is that I wish you would also sell the seal balm top coat separately. It doesn't last long enough and I constantly have to open another lipstick just to use the top coat. Very frustrating! Other than that no complaints. Please consider selling those separately!

The first time I used this product, I didn't wait long enough before applying the balm and it flaked. Once I applied it properly, I found I love it. It stays on while eating and drinking. The only issue is I agree it is difficult to remove. You have to use a good make-up remover, but that is a small price to pay for great looking lipstick that lasts all night!
